With an F1 he should easily be making well over 700 HP, depending on boost level. And how do you know if it's cammed or not? It didn't even have a clip idling, plus there are stealth cams out there. i agree. he was wromping the gas in low gears later on in the video. it acted like it had a stout 383 - 475HP or so but nothing more. if he had the claimed 850hp there would have been much more more tire shredding with the gas he was giving it. besides, i dont know of a fully built 383 that can get 850HP off of an F1. it takes a fully built 496 to get close to 600HP without the boost, and another 200HP with the F1 running 15lbs+ boost. numbers just dont add up. i would like to see a dyno sheet.
ProCharger is ATI's signature name for their centrifugal type supercharger, which normally comes intercooled. They have a higher adiabatic efficiency (read HEAT VS POWER) then Roots type blowers but slightly less than Twin-Screw type blowers but like all compressors their peak flow output is ultimately determined by their compressor size, ie match up a Procharger with a single Turbocharger of similar compressor size and they will have relatively the same power output.

The Red Camaro is CLEARLY Turbo'd. 800 - 900 HP doesn't have to sound loud on the low end and he probably does have drag radials, that he uses at the track only.

depends not all cars are equal 98-00 were rated around 300-305 to the wheels for ss and ws6 2001-2002 was upped to 315-320 buddy of mine has a 2000 with a ls6 intake swap kooks headers high flow cats slp y pipe and GMMG exhaust and tune he was pushing 405 to the wheels before a heads cam package
check out ls1tech, they have all motor ls1's running 8 second 1/4 miles, cam only camaros running 9 seconds and stock internals running 10's. Mind you those are 2900lbs with high gears.
405hp might be hard with a cam only, but you can consider yourself a failure if you get less than 400 hp with full bolt ons (cam/heads/exhaust) seeing as how they already have 305rwhp stock

I was saying anything that "bolts on" is a bolt on(hrmm a supercharger uses bolts). so I guess in my opinion cams, pushrods, lifters, valve springs and rockers are still a "bolt on" application because you have to put a nut on above the rocker(to make a fulcrum so the pushrods that are moved by the cam can open you valves).
Also this is coming from a person who does there own work(ive done 4 ground up restorations on chevy trucks and cars), not a person who has "friends" that do the work.

Everyone argues over this its crazy man they argue this like hell that an LS1 can't make 350hp in an f body but if a vette does it then its different it's essentially the same mator with a diff tune and slighty diff cam The LS1 motor has potential out the ass is just depends on the set up and the tune you have

i am the driver of the black SS, the owner of the supercharged camaro let a girl drive it for the video shoot, so she really didnt get on it, when this was shot it did have 850 hp now it has 914 to the wheels

every ls1 is rated at 350 crank hp... but some of the 02 ss have put down 320ish rwh bone stock, full exhaust and a intake and tune might get you to 375rwh max! cam only ls1 are seeing over 400rwh and heads and cam set up with full bolt on are usually sing 450 to 500rwh, stock ls1 on about 8psi is usually around 500...

depends not all cars are equal 98-00 were rated around 300-305 to the wheels for ss and ws6 2001-2002 was upped to 315-320 buddy of mine has a 2000 with a ls6 intake swap kooks headers high flow cats slp y pipe and GMMG exhaust and tune he was pushing 405 to the wheels before a heads cam package

405 is pushing it for cam only...there have been cam only camaros hitting 9 seconds on ls1tech..but those ones weigh 2900lbs and have 4.10 gears.
You would have failed if you got less than 400hp with full bolt ons in a LS1 (head/cam/exhaust/intake)

check out ls1tech, they have all motor ls1's running 8 second 1/4 miles, cam only camaros running 9 seconds and stock internals running 10's. Mind you those are 2900lbs with high gears.
405hp might be hard with a cam only, but you can consider yourself a failure if you get less than 400 hp with full bolt ons (cam/heads/exhaust) seeing as how they already have 305rwhp stock

o.0? 2000 Camaro SS. Auto. lsx 90/90 intake, ARP ls6 heads 225CC, BBK underdrive pulleys, 220/220 cam, slp LT's, offroad Ypipe, flowmaster 40 w/3" tips, built 4L80E, tune, and 12bolt rear. my car makes 465hp crank on a bad day. y can't bolt-ons get you to 405rwhp?

No. You are definately the stupid one. You can't even do full bolt-ons with a big cam and high flowing heads on an LS1 and make it 600hp. Anywhere in the 400's to low 500's is a more realistic goal. No way in hell are you going to make over 400rwhp on a full bot-ons LS1. Trust me ive got a few.

I was saying anything that "bolts on" is a bolt on(hrmm a supercharger uses bolts). so I guess in my opinion cams, pushrods, lifters, valve springs and rockers are still a "bolt on" application because you have to put a nut on above the rocker(to make a fulcrum so the pushrods that are moved by the cam can open you valves).
Also this is coming from a person who does there own work(ive done 4 ground up restorations on chevy trucks and cars), not a person who has "friends" that do the work.
