Comics are most of the time predictable, Guy hadnt a Chance with Jordan on this one before it started, why? because Hal is the correct, morally right, Mickey Mouse type of hero. It would have been more interesting the other way around. It is like a Nightwing -Batman fight, you know the outcome before it even starts.
@TheVetoSkreeemer That's because DC writer Geoff Johns is a fanboy of Hal. He doesn't want his precious Hal to be a villain, so he retconned it and blamed his personality on a crazy yellow space bug.
lol I do remember when the ring came for Guy Gardner to be the first earth GL, but the ring chose Hal instead of Guy because Hal was closer to the ring.
@TheVetoSkreeemer I remembered reading rebirth when Hal punched Batman in the face, which was very idiotic that johns, the writer would allow that to happen, especially since Batman is a better fighter than Hal is.

The problem is that the character stayed around as Parallax first and the Spectre then so , with the character on the spotlight, many people demanded him to come back. Kyle Rayner never had the chance to be Gl alone like Wally West did.

I got to admit as him being parallax, that was one of the best character developments I've seen from him. Rebirth did have some good fight scenes, but there were some shitty writing like Hal's side white hair were showing signs of parallax, I was like wtf lol.
If Hal had to be resurrected, Instead of the stupid plot Johns came I would have Hal resurrect and accept the blame for all his fauts and move on , seeking redemption , and becomig a hero again. Marvel writers wrote that failry good with characters that turned heroes after being villians, like Rogue, Magneto, Quicksilver , etc.

Hal kicks major ass! I can't find a Parallax comic ANYWHERE!!!! It is really ticking me off, because I really want to see Hal as a badass villan! The only ones I have, he's all good, like one that I have is he's trying to get Green Arrow and Flash to stop bickering! Gah!
Moral of the story is: Never call Hal a coward. Especially if he's rocking the white sideburns. Thats just asking to get owned which is what happened to Guy. He got owned hard.
I they have Guy in the sequel movie I want Michael C Hall to play him.
