  • I can completely relate to how you're feeling right now. Ever since I've been home from college, I feel like my speech impediment has become more apparent. And now this semester, I start recruiting for my internship which involves several interviews a week. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't the least bit scared. I just wanted to remind you how much of a role model you are to me and other stutterers around the world. It's amazing how you continue to pull strength from within yourself. Great video!

  • I applaud you Phil:) You are so awesome. I found too like you that during the holiday season (and leading up to) by stuttering was more visible. I was stressed with classes and such, that could be the reason.

  • Hi Philip, I have to let you know that I don't have a speech impediment or any obstacles (apart from mild deafness). I am simply researching characters. In my research I came across "Speecheasy." I would imagine anyone who stutters would be quite aware of the device, but I am compelled to ask anyway. I know it doesn't work for about 15-20% of stutters who try it, but have you ever given it some thought? Have you tried it? I also have to commend you on your courage. Thank you for sharing

  • Philip, I'm sorry to hear that you had a stressful holiday season. I can really relate because I'm a huge procrastinator too! While I have struggles different than yours, I've fallen behind with therapy for Borderline Personality Disorder this past season and it has hindered my progress as well. Falling down is part of the process, getting back up is more important, and you seem to have done that. Never forget that you're fantastic too! You're such a strong kid!
