thanks, but i installed the v1.0-v1.02 patch, and have lost the cockpit mouse ability. i uninstalled and reinstalled LOMAC, and deleted the ubisoft folder, but i still cant get my old options back. do you know how to at least restore the cockpit mouse settings?

no, cockpit mouse is when you move the mouse and the camera moves with it, it's very fast and much more controlable than the keyboard keys. it's in the options under Cockpit. but it doesn't matter anymore, my computer rejected lomac because it's a vista. i'll just have to wait until i get enough money to buy a new computer.

Whats a trackir?

It's a peripheral for your comp that uses infrared to track the movement of your head and converts it to camera control in games. You can find videos of it in action here on youtube, and details at naturalpoint (dot) com/trackir. Kinda expensive, but you can get something similar for fairly cheap if you're up to the task of modifying a webcam. Google freetrack for another similar setup, the software for it is free and you can get/build the hardware pretty cheap.

Well, all told on my setup I've spent about $25 on my setup. Software's free, got a cheap webcam, and a few LED's, resistors, etc. Glitch is that in order to get it to work you either need to know someone who knows/know yourself about basic electricity, soldering, etc. And it's actually pretty natural to use, once you adjust. You can scale the sensitivity so if you look a little bit to one side it'll look behind you, and so on, so you never have to look completely away from the screen.
