  • i know alot of people have said this already, but pleaseeee do a curly hair video

  • you're the best

  • Hey I have really curly hair and don't know any good hairstyles for me I have it short and I was wondereing what good styles would work

  • okay, i have sort of a big forehead, whats a good style for that?

  • I have a hard time in search of a rough clay like 20 by redken, is there a specific product that has low shine (preferably matte finish) that can hold up a faux hawk that is a little bit over 2 inches that you would recommend? I have straight kinda thick hair . . . help would be really appreciated :)

  • Redken Rough Clay...just purchased it here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada for $23 CDN...amazing product! Don't know why they ditched it in the USA...

  • Can you show us how to do this by yourself??

It's easy when someone else is doing your hair, but it is hard to handle the brush and blow dryer by yourself if you're a novice such as myself, ha.

  • DUDE! YOU ROCK! YOU'RE THE COOLEST HAIRDRESSER EVER AND YOU'RE TIPS WORK! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

  • I am a hair fetishist and I liked this video :) Are there any hair fetishist? :)

  • I have curly hair pls upload new video which for curly hair :)

  • Nice, I got a haircut a few days ago and I learned this from my hairdresser and it really works, I can sleep on my hair and wear hats and it still pops back up.

  • What matrix wax is this?? the beach clay or fibre shuffle thanks

  • But my problem is that I blow dry it and then add the dry product n my hair goes down like my hair is straight but poofy what can I do with that??? Like my hair eats the product :/

  • Is it true that blowdrying your hair is bad? I'm deciding whether to start blowdrying my hair or continue using gel. However, I've heard people say blowdrying your hair is bad. Thanks for your time.

  • Awesome man want to go to cali just to get a haircut by you

  • will the axe paste work ? or do i need to but another kind?

  • @mynameisjulioc I would get rid of the axe. Its texture is nothing like the professional products like Redken or Matrix, etc. I find Axe paste makes just makes your hair sticky and unmanageable. Plus, it is way too greasy. It's worth dishing out a few extra bucks for something good trust me, and it'll last you like 7 months anyway, so it's pretty fair for the price. Remember :you get what you pay for!

  • @JogMaster91 i ahve one more problem my hair is wavy and curls form on the front and its inpossible to keep the hair up.

  • @mynameisjulioc It's not impossible. I did a video on youtube (hit the "refresh" button on your browser to view it) where I talked about how to control your hair. Just like I said at 2:16, you need to use heat. Heat your curly hair with a blow dryer, as you pull it straight with a brush, and it will stay straight. If you pull it up, and you heat it, it will stay up... I can straighten black hair w a blow dryer, but you may need a flat iron, and that's another video all together (coming soon).

  • great video again, as good as your last one with Blake (that got deleted a few weeks ago) or better :)

You said REDKEN discontinued their "Rough Clay", but here in Europe (I'm from germany) it's still available like everywhere. I sent you a private message with a link to a UK online shop, they even deliver worldwide for FREE :-)

concerning the video: Could Blake actually blow-dry his hair like this on his own? I'd really like to see that, I find it very hard to do by myself....

  • -face right up to camera-

    "Sick of your fauxhawk?"

    I lol'd

  • Andrew ,what about poker straight hair like I have? I have long bangs in front and short sideaa and back. How do I keep the bangs bfrom flying all over the place? It seem that you have similar hair.

  • Any advice for super thick straight hair (Asian Hair)? My hair sucks!

  • @robb2912 Asians have the BEST hair! Just blow dry it, exactly like I said in this video. There would be no difference from the instruction I've given here, and instruction I'd give to do thick, Asian hair. When we start talking about very curly and wavy hair, then there are a few other steps and products I'd recommend. But anything close to straight should be able to be controlled the way this video describes.

  • Any videos coming up on thick curly hair for guys?

  • @RoDJ99 Soon! The guy I have in mind to model for me is crazy busy, and is never available when my salon is closed like this... But he has very coarse and wavy hair; you will learn a thing or two from him!

  • Thank god for people who believe that murray's is crap and to go for something better, yes it costs more but it's just so much better.

  • Blake is HoT!!!!!!

  • Loved the video but my hair is so different from Blakes that blow-drying it makes it worse. I have a double crown and a couple of other crazy bits.

  • @fannycraddock99 Pull your hair tightly into the direction you want it, as you dry it... You're either not using enough tension, or not enough heat... You may need a flat iron, too, but I usually hold off on that, reserving it for the worst of the worst hair...

  • @andrewdoeshair Thanks Andrew.

  • good video! i wish you did more hair videos, they're really interesting

  • nice video, thx :D
