Jazz music is played with a Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, Clarinet, Piano, Guitar, Double bass, Drums, Vocals.

All of these instruments, if played "right," are soothing because there are no loud obnoxious beats/sounds in it. Purely low beat music with the intention of relaxing you man.
