  • never heard music like this.. instills peace in me , listening to it. to bad all thats promoted these day is BS that brainwashes u

  • Thank you for this one! Please, can you tell me how you did just the lyrics in this video? Many thanks,

    Julianne

  • Beautiful.

  • One of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard, hands down.

  • In addition to the poetry and emotional resonance of this marvelous song and performance, I admire the skillful use of internal rhymes in combination with standard rhyming schemes. When this video, now at 2215 views, comes to surpass Avril Lavigne's 75 million, we will know that justice has finally arrived in the realm of musical artistry.

  • Amen. Well said, friend.

  • I encountered Dave and Tracy a year and a half before Dave's passing, and I got to know them both a little. I feel honored to have walked the same paths with Dave, if only for a short time.

This is one of my favorites of his songs, though I don't perform it.

  • Did you see that "twoodbum" posted 4 videos of Dave & Tracy performing? "When I GO", "The Mountain", "Gentle Arms of Eden" and "Crocodile Man".... I also put some up with just their music and my video.

  • I don't think Tracy performs it anymore. It's one of the few songs she just doesn't after he died.

  • w0w what a nice s0ng....thanks f0r the lyrics...i really enj0yed this...RIP dave....

  • This song hits at home. I can relate to every word. From my begining to my future. A tragic song. But it does have a major hint of reality. To where life will go and the final death. It is perfect.

  • I came to know Dave's music after his death. Every time I hear the music he and Tracy created I feel the hole that has been left, but am thankful for the beauty that remains.

  • This man was a kindred spirit. I'm so sorry to have missed him on this turn of the Great Wheel.Thank you, Tracy for continuing his musical legacy.

  • I've seen Tracy perform this a couple of times...so moving...one of my favorites by them. Thank you Dave Carter, for this great musical legacy.

  • Sad, sad, profound song
