I have a question that I'd like your input on, David99lee: Is using the bishop, such as at 3:07, to take the pawn and check the king, forcing him to take the bishop or move, worth the loss in material to prevent castling?
@BleedItOut10 In the position at 3:07 material is still even. Is it worth a pawn to prevent your opponent from castling? Yes it is 90% of the time if you can keep the King in the center making it easier to attack it. In some positions it would be even worth a piece to open the King to a strong attack. In the game position not being able to castle did not cause Black to lose. It was his lack of space and bad positioning of his pieces on queenside. I hope this helped answer your question.
@MrSmileyMatt Thanks for your comment. I try to make them interesting and hopefully someone can learn from them too. I hope to have another video in the coming week.
