  • I always get goosebumps listening to the beginning of this song!

  • R.I.P crowbar

  • Comment removed

  • Probably one of the best songs of the 2000´s

The intro gives me goose bumps every time i hear it :-)

  • I remember buying Weathered as my first album, back when I was obsessed with WWF, jumping off the dressers to my bed yelling "R. V. D!!!" hahah, GOOD FUCKING TIMES! Love this song til today.

  • creed rocks lots of meaning

    whos got my back now

  • what does the death of osama bin laden have to do with creed?

  • I've loved this song since 2001 or 2002, it does describe our world right now.

  • Replay! This is my favorite song of all time.

  • Hello metalheads, emo's, goths, scene, punks, anything alternative.

Instead of a rock rebellion i propose a new plan.

    1. Don't bash other artists, we must unite! We cant fight against pop music if we arent even together

    2. Watch more and more good videos to get it to the top of the youtube vid list

If you like this idea, thumbs it up JUST so people can see it, and also spread it around if you like this idea

Copy this text in every metal, punk, rock, electro etc. video.

  • @Zonqla I like pop, rap, classical, jazz, metal (and all it's sub-genre's), rock, reggae, swing, funk, ambient, new-age, R&B, soul, gospel, and anything else so why fight against music. Let people listen to what they like instead of fighting. In the words of Rodney King "Can't We All Just Get Along?"

  • @Zonqla: Why fight against pop? Do you think calling pop music retarded is going to make people who like it suddenly see the light? Just listen to what you like and fuck everyone else.

  • @andyissemicool I agree with what you are saying, but he might mean to change the minds or younger people because theirs are easier to change then an older person.

  • @Zonqla Or you can accept that hip-hop is pretty six, some pop is actually awsome. Yhe rock and metal is brilliant then agian so is reggae so why don't you stop dssing on artists and stop trying to get likes.

  • The truth is all this Osama death thingie is fake and downright idiotic. he had been dead a long time ago.

  • @imfaizzi

Agreed, but I find it a bit interesting they released that info the day Pagan rituals will end. Look up May 1st and see all the shit that happens on that day.

  • Awesome song.

Dude, you have one still in your vid and that's fine, but where's the quality at?

  • @JohnPeter952 which vid you talkin about man?

  • @JohnPeter952 porke parese como si latieran un corazon detras ,de fondo,no va nada conla idiologia religiosa de creed

  • @alcomferoz ¿Es así? Muy bien, gracias.

  • the songs chorus is the perfect words to be used to describe the govornment at the moment!

  • @asdffdsafdsa123 Umm, the Native American spiritual is what defines this song. Along with Scott's epic vocal keys.

  • kevin levrone full blown

  • whos got my back?

  • When I was on an expedition into the Beartooth range, we came across an uncharted spring fed stream. Our ex. leader applied at USGS to name it Tremonti Spring

  • what is the translation?

  • KEVIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN you must won mr olympia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I KNOW SMOKIE420! THIS IS THEIR BEST FUCKING SONG!

  • more then likely it's underrated because it takes more then 2 mins to get to the vocals...which is what 90% of the mainstream is based on...most people don't appreciate anything else...all the instruments are just filling in the background for the vocals to most people...

  • @DarkJoker7 True

  • I wanna know what the indian is saying all i know is that its Bo Taylor chanting

  • @vjames577 it's a Cherokee war prayer. before my ancestors would go into battle, their elders and other warriors would join in on a prayer song. i'm not sure of the translation. i was told once by a friend whom is full blooded Cherokee. i myself am only 1/7th Cherokee. i did have the chance however to take part in the prayer once at a small powwow when i was fairly young. i can still follow along to the full prayer.

  • @fonzifan what a fool...and i'm kind sayin this

  • @aloys69 Learn kinda how to form a sentence correctly... and i dope aint choke sayin your vagina could fart out cream.

  • @fonzifan Bro you should shut the fuck up, get a life that doesn't rely on being a complete asswipe, and not leave comments, because each time you do you make yourself look like that much bigger of a dumbass.

  • @WolfofShades No thanks. I prefer anally raping you soft white little dick barely legal fagots like this. So fuck you and keep hating because it turns me on.

  • Comment removed

  • @fonzifan By the way, stay in school, your grammar sucks kentucky fried kung pow chicken ass.

  • @fonzifan You're a perfect example of someone everyone should just disregard completely. You tell someone to learn how to form a sentence when you cannot form one yourself. What aloys69 said made complete sense. Let me educate you, you poor piece of human garbage. Aloys69 stated you were a fool, and then continued to say "and I'm kind saying this". He could have also said "I'm kind for saying this", it's the same thing. The English language can be tricky, especially for idiots like yourself.

  • @Nokturne999 OHHHHHH NOZZZZZ IZUMAD? ME SOOOO SORRY. ME SORRY ME HURT YOUR LITTLE CANADIAN COCK FEELINGS. NOW GO SHOVEL SNOW YOU CHINK.

  • @fonzifan Awwww, I shouldn't have fed the troll. Every time this guy talks he mentions dicks, cocks, and anally raping dudes. You're a joke, dude. Go download more porn, you gay emo cunt! lol

  • @Nokturne999 GTFO noob, haha. butthurt much?

  • @xxxlondynxxx Yeah, that makes sense. Noob of what? The internet? You're just as dumb as the other guy, lol. Moron.

  • @fonzifan Screw u man, just enjoy that Creed tried something different unlike other mainstream garbage

  • This is the best Creed song of all time...good shit to work out to....fuckin love it!

  • Gosh, I remember listening to this song back in the day. It was so underrated back then, and still is now. If people would sit down and listen to this, they would look at everything at a different prospective. Long live the old creed, and their wonderful lyrics.

  • God, this song is so underrated!! and the Native American vocals at the beginning and end are so beautiful...

  • This song is about all the Indians who lost there land.

  • I really love this song!!!

  • This is a totally bad ass song. Creed is a great band with awesome songs and this song is one of them!!

  • Man I'm going nuts that they're playing this on the tour now.Stapp sounds great again too. YEAAAH!

  • @superfry21 just saw them last night, they didnt play this song. Was waiting for it, wasnt even in the encore, disappointing.

  • Creed is one of my all time favorite bands <3

  • anyone have the native american prayer lyrics at the beginning?

  • @tukalagullah no, but i think its something they sang before they went into battle, or to remember a fallen friend.

  • @junaklu word thanks

  • awesome band... for sure

  • i love this whole song, i dont care what everyone else thinks about creed, they are a great band

  • @killswitch022 I find that their lesser known stuff is much better. Are you Ready, Beautiful, Freedom Fighters, Wash Away Those Years are my favs. What If is the only song I like that they used as a single.

  • 100% agree with ealier posts. The best song creed have written. Never get tired of listening to this

  • beautiful song..makes you think...creed is the best

  • yea it does

plus this is my fav song from this album

  • mine to

  • I was 11 or so when this album came out, and the opening for this song always creeped me out a little bit.

It didn't help that I was listening to that part when someone broke into my house one night, either.

  • lol who woulda thought....i was the same age when the album came out.... i also thought the beginning was kind of creepy but no body tried to break in my house......

  • too me its the best song creed ever sang

  • Wow! This is the absolutely very very best and dramatically sound of the presence!!!!

  • Awesome album...it's the best because of the honesty....everyone can relate.

    peace

  • Best song on Weathered, My Sacrifice be damned.

  • it's more Native American related...i mean it's pretty obvious...i am full-blooded Native...so, if any individual was to listen to this then they would understand, even by lyrics itself...i mean it completely tells a tale of Native history...like the Battle of Wounded Knee for example...then from there th etimeline of Native history thru modern...not even going into the lifestyles of reservations, but it's moreso keeping the Native traditions as a culture in a whole..................

  • i can play all of creeds songs including this one and idk how the fuck mark thought of this shit, he must have been in a trance from hell lol

  • creed in my opinion has the worlds best lyrical talent of all time and tremonti gives me cold chills

  • This song makes me so....... i get a weird feeling! i just luv this song! at about the 4 min mark tremonti starts rocking out! hey support creed guys, visit my channel and leave comments watch my vids etc more vids coming btw! check em out :D

  • this song is perfect for tails x cosmo do u agree? Ps: think about it :)

  • This song owns so badly!

  • one of my fav too

  • This is my opinion and i know a lot of you are going to disagree with me so plz dont say w.e your wrong cause i know some feel differently but in a weird way this seems like the most forgotten creed song... witch is weird cause its one of if not THE best creed song to date but it seems this song is shadowed by One last breathe and My Sacrifice witch again is weird cause This is one of there best songs.

  • This is the best song Creed ever did

  • i agreed

  • i absolutely agree with you, this song is a masterpiece, the lyrics and the music, there is so much truth in that song it hurts me to listen to it. And it is a bit forgotten, no idea why TBH, but i guess not a lot of ppl can listen to that song the way i do, maybe it's just some music to them.

  • this is BY FAR the best creed song. I was SOOOO disappointed that they didn't play it on the current tour when I saw them. I wasn't expecting to, because it obviously wasn't a single..but i was very disappointed nevertheless. I was surprised that they didn't even play Weathered.

  • I agree completely. It's their best, most artistic song on any of their albums. By far the best song on Weathered.

  • one of the best song i've ever heard

  • Este disco es grandioso y este otoño viene el nuevo con su gira!!

  • the song can have many meanings but to me it is a very religouse song. but not the way u guys think. he says " the covenent has been broken" , and in the chorus " all we have left is deceptive, so disconected, what is the truth." this is more about how religouns munipulate ppl and are lieing to us all. its about the world unifying and find our true purpose. not through religoun or corruption

thats just my interpretation. hell i could be wrong but w/e that sounds about right.

  • *religious flame shield* i know what your saying, I believe theres a higher force, but I don't believe that some guy who had a vision was the one to know exactly who that person is. I don't believe that higher force would reveal themselves to us, so there is no way to know the truth. We are lied to by people who want power, so they create a way of life that people follow thinking they are doing something good, but really, they are following deception and lies. This song is true.

  • And if this being that created us does have a place for us to go after we die, why would they not reveal themselves (not sure what gender you would consider a higher power to be).

  • Now that you mention that it does kinda sound like he's talking about religion. I agree how religion can munipulate people. I think if people were to really read closly they would spot all the contradictions in the bible for example god says thou shall not kill but then he turns around and does it himself numerous times in the old testament.

  • i dont know why but this song always makes me think about stuff. it brings back alot of memories best song evar!!!!

  • Best Creed Song!

  • Hey can y'all find out somethin for me?Whats the name of the Cherokee dance at the beginning of this song?(Is it the rain dance?)because i have the cd but cant find the little booklet to it that gave that info. The whole album is the greatest (in my opinon)that they made though,i grew up listenin to it when it first came out in the early 2000's

  • 1 of my fav!!!!!

  • this is song is rly awesome. i love it !!

  • awesome song!!!

  • the main riff reminds me of the intro to The End is Here by Alter Bridge.

  • I don't care how long this song is....this song is beautiful.....bad ass

  • damn this is a long song

  • Screw the haters. I don't care what anybody says...this is a beautiful song and Creed is still my favorite band.

  • ... Wow.....

  • For once will someone PLEASE define "Christian Band". People have their own individual belief systems, each person in the band. So, if one of them is a christian, does that make them a christian band? Someone clarify

  • I suppose it'd be defined as a band that played music for the purpose of worship or sperading Christianity.
