  • Vector Marketing is such garbage I'm glad I didn't let them scam me, but I sure had fun scamming them! ;)

  • They all say they are the "#1 office" by the way.

  • Chumps in the front row. Might as well stick it on their foreheads.

  • My god i guess anyone that is dumb enough to invest (waste) their time money and energy into this huge scam deserves to be taught a valuable lesson.

  • Wow, what a fucking douchebag lmfao.

  • Red flag # 5. A girl who was dressed provocatively flirted with me when my boss went out to "get a drink." The next day when I came into training I found out that she was one of the managers.

Red Flag # 6. We had to "take "notes" when the boss spoke. We were never quizzed over the "notes," and he was talking about useless crap like how the job was going to help us build skills for the future.

  • @james1forification1 LOL. So building skills for your future is useless crap?

  • @Maverick122590 It's better achieved through a real job.

  • @james1forification1 you take notes to fucking review the notes and help you. this isnt fucking highschool its a job. idiot.

  • @chrislopez44 We were told to take notes. And your comment doesn't make any sense. Did you mean that I thought the notes would help me? Just in case you were wondering, I didn't. And it's not a job it's a fucking scam. I may have been a little naive to fall for the scam, but at least I can write a proper sentence. You're a fucking idiot, if you wanted to add idiot you should have put in a comma. You sound like a moron when you write like that.

  • @james1forification1 its not a scam you just have to know rich people who want to buy knives. its all about who you know. it didnt work for me i could get the right referals to people who would actually buy it.

  • @chrislopez44 couldn't *

  • @chrislopez44 Fair enough, most ppl don't have rich connections, that's why everyone runs out of customers.

  • When I went into training here's what I saw...

Red flag # 1. My boss obviously took EVERYONE who applied. He told me he only took 20 percent.

Red flag # 2. My boss got us all pumped up to do the job for no less than one hour before telling us anything about the job. What kind of employer has to sell you the job?

Red flag # 3. My boss wouldn't answer my question about who our customers were going to be.

Red flag # 4. None of the offices had windows.

  • Hahaha, this is some bottom of the barrel shit right here. Yet it seems to be posted by someone who wants me to like this company. Odd. Maybe "District Manager's" holds a clue.

Also, I believe your description must have been intended for some other video.

  • I KNEW IT WAS BULLSHIT SO I WENT BLOWN AS FUCK TO THIS INTEVIEW THING AND GOT THE JOB HAHAHAH THEY HIRE ANYONE SUCH A SCAM

  • @sirkhana1 MINE DID TOO!!! XD HEY HOW ABOUT THAT FAST START??? FAST START TO DISAPOINTMENT.

  • I HAD AN INTERVIEW 2DAY IM GLAD I DIDNT GO !!!

  • What a bunch of chumps lol

  • Training with no paid? even other jobs can do better than that. I dont care about 16$ an hour. I rather have 3 days of paid training of minimum wage than 3 days of listening to bullcrap.

  • any bozo who joins their company is fail

  • UR A SCAM AND FUK U

  • I remember doing this Crap since elementary school, where we sell magazines and etc. And depending on how much we sold we get a certain prize. But BS selling never seem successful especially when there are people that are doing the same fucking product as you.

  • Shitty company I'd rather work for McDonalds

  • @7footballfanatic7 my friend left mcdonalds to work at vector lol oh how ironic

  • Fuck vector. Nuff said

  • i actually worked at that branch and wasted so much time. i got a letter in the mail about a job opportunity recently. you'd think that they'd keep records of former employees in their records, but you can't expect much from a mockery of a company. Also, i'm pretty sure its ILLEGAL to not take taxes out of paychecks. I guarantee the idiots making "thousands of dollars" (who by the way are spending it irresponsibly) wouldn't be making that kind of money if the company was abiding by the law.

  • @cuddlebug91 when your taxes are "taken out" of your pay check they are getting put into a withholding account. When it is time to pay taxes if the withholding account has more money then what you owe they give you a tax refund. If you owe more you have to pay that. Every business owner, including vector reps, can choose to withhold taxes if they want, but it is in no way Illegal. Every rep must pay taxes by april 15th

  • @liquiddrano13 Uh hello genius, if you worked at a real job, federal income taxes automatically get taken out of your pay check. I worked at Vector for almost a year and never had to pay taxes. I never got anything from vector relating to taxes.

  • @cuddlebug91 Vector is an independent contractor position, you get a 1099 at the end of the year versus a w-2. They don't take the taxes out as an independent contractor because there are business expenses that can be written off when you are not an employee such as gas milage, phone bills, supplies for work, etc. These expenses come out of income before taxes. If you ever want to own a company this is important to know. Realtors, Construction contractors, and business owners all get 1099's

  • @cuddlebug91 the person who pays you your hourly or salary wage is not an employee but an employer, which is exactly what the 1099 is for (business owners). At vector you are not an employee but you are your own boss which allows you to work when you want and create your own schedule. But again, taxes must be paid and if they are not paid it is the individuals fault not the companies. Completely normal.

  • @liquiddrano13 nope, not at all. btw, if the reps are their own boss, then why the hell does the district managers get part of your sales?

  • @cuddlebug91 i said "boss" they do not "own" the cutco corporation. Managers are paid based on the business they produce within the organization. If their organization is selling lots of products they get paid lots of money. Being a boss doesn't mean the money stops with you. For example, a realtor is their own boss, they have no "quotas" they have no requirement to sell. But when they do sell part of their commission goes to their company or principal broker such as REMAX, Prudential, etc

  • @liquiddrano13 oh please, the dm barely does anything. They don't deserve shit. If the company wasn't a scam, they should inform the reps of EVERYTHING, like that the reps are working to make money for lazy managers. Or why no one is allowed to know how much it costs to make the product. Real companies aren't afraid of telling those they hire the truth. Vector is so secretive about everything, including telling interviewees about the company before they're interviewed. It's pathetic.

  • @cuddlebug91 If you had a lazy manager they probably don't work anymore and that's unfortunate for the reps in that office, most DM's work extremely hard and put in lots of hours in for their people, not all of them make great money (the lazy ones go under as they pay for all the rent and supplies for the office). Your opinion is your opinion and if you don't like the company that's fine, was only trying to clear up the tax concern

  • @liquiddrano13 Nothing was cleared up, except for the fact that Vector Marketing is an unethical company. Theres nothing right about a company misleading 100s of college students into thinking that they are such great reps when really they aren't anything special with no experience. HA. Also, why require people to do things like go to 2-3 hours meetings, 18 hours of training, and hours upon hours of making phone calls for appointments without being paid? or get paid when driving to appts?

  • @cuddlebug91 I just got hired and i HATE it. The're making us sit there for 8 hours calling people.. fun...

  • @wharsmypancakeshoe lol its a joke

  • Still don't know how to go about selling kitchen knives that can cut like scalpels to a customer without making em nervous.

Maybe I should go somewhere else...

  • Pure BS I went through this training too. I finally got so pissed with the 7am sat. Manager calls to get up and start making appointments that I just got a real job at beat buy( which was awesome)! SCAM and a big fucking waste of time!! Cock suckers

  • Scam mmm

  • lol, I think I saw this guy yesterday on the street saying the world was going to end May 21st, 2011.

  • Did he know you were taping him?

  • I went through the unpaid bullshit crap training. The people that are successful have no shame, no honor or no respect for their fellow human or they have a ton of friends and relatives with money to throw around.

If you work there, you will learn how to be a real low life scum business person who contributes nothing to society, but you will make a lot of money.

Although I must say the knives are pretty damn nice, smooth and sharp.

  • @strohmin1

The knives are crap. There is an report on the internet off a consumer complaint rip off, The knives were made out of shit cheap pieces of steel. Vector sells some of the "high quality" knives sometimes for more than they are worth. You can find the products they sell at other professional knife store for less than half the price vector sells.

  • If anyone has questions about the company or position become a FAN of our Facebook Page. Vector Marketing Corporation. We don't update You tube that frequently.

  • @stlouissouth Vector/Cutco has not paid sales people in and around Charlotte NC stay away. Do not get involved with this company.

  • @stlouissouth Scam and a pyriamid scheme. Sales people around Charlotte NC haven't been paid in a while. Stay away you've been warned.

  • Every major company that works with alot of people over many years will have something on the internet about it. It doesn't always mean its good nor bad. If you had a personal problem with the company I suggest you contact vectorpr@cutco.com and get it resolved. But best of luck on your job search. Many people have greatly benefited from working with Vector Marketing.

  • @stlouissouth i bet you work for vector marketing dont you?

  • @stlouissouth And far more people have not.

  • Vector Marketing has been sued more than once in just the past 20 years. In Wisconsin they had to promise to provide honest information when they are recruiting people. Just google Vector Marketing and lawsuits/scam.

  • scam

  • Vector is an experience/stepping stone to a career. Not a Career. Understand that and you'll get alot out of it!

  • Its sad for me to see all the people that had negative experience with vector. .its definitely not for everyone and a good deal of the managers out there ARE d-bags. luckily mine wasn't and helped me succeed at a higher level than ever before. I work full time around school with vector as an assistant manager, make 1500-2500 a month, and love it. This summer, i'll help people grow, provide a great product, and probably SAVE(not make) $20,000...no other job provides this for college students

  • This is what my District Manager just word from word!!! WOW should i quit?

  • @monjiques yes

  • Three arrows.. 1rst brainwash , 2nd sell the product, 3rd for the company. People , product, company. ...shame.

  • Vector sucks ass.

  • this is almost word for word what my manager said to us in our first meeting

  • holy trying to brainwash them..

"we are the best out there so we dont need you, BUT we are just so kind that we want to help you" ROFL bullshit.

  • @gowill2

I'm sorry that you feel that way. Many people try out positions and find out they can do it. Many people out there try out positions and find out it's not for them. Vector's an equal opportunity company that provides jobs. The results and success is directly based off the reps learning, performance, and ability to get help. Very similar to school and students grades. The more you put in the more you get out of it. If you had experienced a problem please contact vectorpr@cutco.com

  • @stlouissouth Equal opportunity? You guys only really hire college students/high school graduates fresh out. Bullshit.

    Your Managers are manipulative people.

Yes the product is great and I love the knives but I do not like the people that I would be working for and every single one of the friends I recommended to work there agree.

I'm not going to say you guys are a scam but you most definitely DO withhold pay and you are VERY misleading.

  • @stlouissouth after u work there for more than a month then post comments

  • @92holli i'll give him a week.

  • @92holli Well you know what? Iv worked there a couple months and I agree that they brainwash you and it's a gigantic scam. So what's going to be your next top comment/reply to me that you're going to thumbs up with all the fake accounts Vector has?

  • @fancy haha why thankyou owell its just one of many pyramid scams,

  • @stlouissouth

haha vector have equal opportunity? that is fucking bullshit. Vector is a company of scam labelled by the United States and Australian Justice system.

You people got sued more than 5 times for fraudulent and underpay. And each time the court found evidence of violation of employment.

  • @stlouissouth yeah...we learned...we learned that we work for nothing...we gain some experiences...that's called working by paying the company ..We gained the knowledge too, we learned how to tell what is legit what is scam.

  • Can anyone who works for Cutco give me some tips or selling strategies for selling cutco? I'm in a slump and I need some customers, does anyone have any strategies for getting some quick? I've already seen my friends and family but I'm stuck in a rut. Thanks!

  • @chronichedgehog quit......vector marketing is a scam.

  • Don't listen to the people telling you to quit - give it a fair chance first and realize that it can be challenging, especially when first starting out. I don't sell Cutco now, but in college I did, and i sold a lot, and made good money - if you are having trouble, talk to your manager and the experienced reps, and see if you can go field training with some of the top people... and be sure you are following the program and being enthusiastic during the demo - if not, that can hurt. Good luck!

  • @chronichedgehog Expand your "chicken list" -people (friends/family/teachers/neighbors/coaches/friends parents etc) that you are afraid to call then make sure you are qualifying your recs - married, cooks, hunts.fishes, see hubby with wife, likes to shop, likes to entertain etc and then ask your customer who would be the top half ex 10 recs = top 5 ppl you would see first if they were you and focus on calling them and you will be awesome. any other questions just find vector on facebook

  • if it is not door to door and it's not telephone, how is business done? in a kiosk in a mall or some kind of stand on the corner of a block? help me out, they don't give me much information before the interview.

  • @Alimaleo you start making appointments with people you know like family and friends then you move onto their references

  • @gothding thanks
