@THEBUBBAEFFECT There is nothing gay about thousands of hot, sweaty sailors trapped on a boat for six months. Even if they are all greased up, and only wearing their underwear it's still not gay.
YAT YAS 4TH AAVS. Brings back a lot of memories from the USS Barbour County LST 1195. We did combat drops eight seconds apart, now that was some close ass shit dude.
USS Fredrick! Funny, that was the first ship I drove on/off. Didnt realize how small it was until I went on an LPD later in my career!....didnt know the Fredrick was still around.
I did Operation Balikatan and Cobra Gold in 2000 on the USS Fredrick LST. That little ass ship only gave us about 3 feet on each side of the pig while driving up into the well deck. Needless to say we had one boot punch a hole in a pontoon. Good times.

YAT YAS!!! Charlie Company 4th Tracs, 1969 to 1975. Bings back a lot of great memories. Yeah we hated apricots too!!
By the way, it was spelled "tracs" because the vehicles were AMphibious TRACtors. It had nothing to do with it being a tracked vehicle.
Semper Fi and check yer hull plugs!!!
