best of the best ever recorded on this planet.and its no joke ..this is talent that will really last the test of time..a hundred years or more from now ppl will still know who Mike Oldfeild is.
Went to watch this concert in The Hague NL, and immediately bought another ticket to watch it again, twice in a row! Can dream/play the album aloud and/or in my mind.
Wow! I haven't heard that version in years. I had it on vinyl long ago "Mike Oldfield Live" but haven't been able to find it as of late. The best version of Tubular Bells imho, and there have certainly been a few versions. Thanks for posting this!
where anywhere can one see such live guitar craftsmamship...answer: far and wide cuz thats where one'd look in vain...a sentence almost as bizarre and convoluted as this tooooon

Mike Oldfield... imho, the best composer of the modern age: brilliant, original, innovative, creative, poetic.

Loved this! I loved him doing the soundtrack to A Space Movie way back in
1979 or 1980. Fantastic and talented guy!

It was a paper aeroplane
they had tonnes of 'em at the concert for some reason.

It's in a way amusing to realise how fast and accurate these musicians are without getting any sense of shredding or showing off.
