The similarities between mine and Kaye's life is amazing. broke my in the end, i felt for both the girls, 10yrs., later kaye being married decides the only way to fix her broken heart is to take the same actions that emily took 10yrs. earlier, and this time she wasn't to be there for her princess. makes you wonder where exasctly was emily in life now, and we know kaye had a husband, left behind, did she have shildren too..?.? but it goes to show it's njot for usas people to judge.!.!

wow after reading comments i was kinda iffy about watching it but once i pressed paused and got over the cheap crappy camera work i could not stop. its a great story and very touching. knowing friends who have trouble with coming out to family that they are gay is something they should never be afraid of. the fact that religion supports such behavior towards them makes them hypocrites to the fact that they should be loving to each other because no one is perfect.

Everyday our LGBT community goes through so much hate and pain everyday because of the fear of what others may think [family, friends, religious views, etc] just remember - Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life; define yourself. Being silent isn't being strong its turning yourself into your own victim. Be yourself and do what makes YOU happy.
This actually hits home in a lot of ways throughout our society. It's sad that people really care so much who you're attracted to. I think our world has enough hate. We need all love we can get; no matter what way, shape, or form.

This movie was really good. It really caught my attention. I was surprised that Kay committed suicide but she was the one that ended the relationship, I guess she really wanted to be with her in the end. But because their parents could not accept it, she felt the need to kill herself. Personally, if I was in her situation I wouldn't care what my parents think. But they were basing it on religion. Religion has nothing to do with homosexuality. It's all about what makes you happy..

@Decktrio I'm not sure what religion you are, but if you are a Christian you follow Christian doctrine, and the Bible. The only authority is the Bible, the Priest, Pastors, Ministers are just there to guide you. Acts 17:17 says to search the scriptures daily to see if the things that are taught are so. I imagine most other religions would have a similar ideology.

OMG this movie touched me more than I anticipated and i hate to admit that i was brought to tears! this story was so raw, so emotional, so relevent, so real..... and held so much truth.
It saddens me to know that some ppl live there lives miserably bcz they are afraid to love who they love. LOVE HAS NO GENDER! I just pray that I am blessed to be with my soulmate forever and not run away from love. This is one of the best low budget movies ever lol I am so glad i watched it has made my day :-)

This actually hits home in a lot of ways throughout our society. It's sad that people really care so much who you're attracted to. I think our world has enough hate. We need all love we can get; no matter what way, shape, or form.

This movie was really good. It really caught my attention. I was surprised that Kay committed suicide but she was the one that ended the relationship, I guess she really wanted to be with her in the end. But because their parents could not accept it, she felt the need to kill herself. Personally, if I was in her situation I wouldn't care what my parents think. But they were basing it on religion. Religion has nothing to do with homosexuality. It's all about what makes you happy..

i'm of a religion that says this is a sin but I dont see it as one i support ANYONE who is gay, lesbian, or bi-sexual because i am bi, its YOUR choice NOT society's whos to say you cant love, cant be in a relation ship, and who says you cant be free!!? this is one of the few topics i will argue about with someone who starts to hate on people who are gay, lesbian, OR bi-sexual this is something i STRONGLY stand for and that will NEVER change.

@Decktrio I'm not sure what religion you are, but if you are a Christian you follow Christian doctrine, and the Bible. The only authority is the Bible, the Priest, Pastors, Ministers are just there to guide you. Acts 17:17 says to search the scriptures daily to see if the things that are taught are so. I imagine most other religions would have a similar ideology.

OMG this movie touched me more than I anticipated and i hate to admit that i was brought to tears! this story was so raw, so emotional, so relevent, so real..... and held so much truth.
It saddens me to know that some ppl live there lives miserably bcz they are afraid to love who they love. LOVE HAS NO GENDER! I just pray that I am blessed to be with my soulmate forever and not run away from love. This is one of the best low budget movies ever lol I am so glad i watched it has made my day :-)
