Hans Zimmer was excellent in MW2. But this tune does not match the whole soundtrack as you might think it does. You will rarely hear this in the game.

This isn't actually Brian Tyler. This is Two Steps From Hell. They make trailer music. And although Zimmer isn't doing the soundtrack, it's being composed by Brian Tyler who did the soundtracks to films like Battle: Los Angeles and Fast Five. He's pretty good.

The reason Hans Zimmer is not scoring this is because Infinity Ward is not behind MW3. When Infinity Ward team members left Activision so did any chance of Hans Zimmer's involvement in future COD projects.
