I have this game...but CAN'T FIND IT! Ugh. Anyway--I did play it at E3 back in '99 or something. I think it was slated to come to the US at some point but it never happened.

I just bought this game on Ebay for a measly £4 recently. I haven't played it much yet, but it's interesting, and I like the customizing tools.

As all Dreamcastgames, this one looks fun and arcade. Unfortunately it takes quite long to beat an opponent, so it seems.

That was a squire (I forgot to equip mine). The camera is also indeed wonky, mainly because the lock-on system is all over the shop. The premise for the game is an interesting one though and the customisation is quite different in terms of implementation compared to something like Armored Core.

I was reading a review of this the other day (in fact, I believe it was yours) and it sounded really interesting. It's kind of a shame that the camera looks so wonky in that video. I get the feeling that if this game had gotten a sequel, it could have been worked into something great. I did the mecha designs, anyways.
Were those robots that showed up mid-battle Squires?
