  • Thanks for another adventure...felt like I was there. I know exactly where that rock is, on the north side of the lake...Stopped there many times as any beach that was there was taken..I freeze our h2O bottles to leave room for more food..There is usually two or more people though.. Happy adventures fellow PNW Native..

  • @klimber10001 Thank you! Yes, it's a nice alternative to the (usually occupied) beaches. I brought too much food for me alone, I know! I think I do that because I have this fleeting desire to just stay out there and want to have a decent supply of rations to make my start! haha! After that runs out, I would have to start fending for myself. Thank you for the well-wishing and enjoy your weekend! Nice to hear this made you feel like you were there!

  • Careful there. Not an easy task when you're out there on your own.The waters aren't always so forgiving....:::smiles::: I'm going to see if I can hunt down a decent sandwich for lunch rather than getting the usual drive-thru junk.

  • Oh, that does sound like a good sandwich. Sauteed onions can be really good on steak sandwiches, actually. Hmmm...Getting hungry.....and yes, it must have been tricky being out there on your own, filming in the wild blue yonder but you carried it off quite nicely. Looking forward to more of your adventures.

  • @dhog41 Thank you so much! I had some close calls with the camera and the water. I had another one of these sandwiches for lunch today (picked it up for Galen and I at work).

  • Woah, check that grizzly...2:07!! ha! j/k Wow Scottish Italian food to go!!! Now that's a picnic basket, me hearty!!! You've done so well to make this really WUNDERBAR! It's a mini doco' innit? Summer wonderland! You've got a great location for natural beauty. Love the waves clashing upon you, on the shore. Hehe...watch out, Nessie in the shot 7:37!! Nice one, will see ya next time! btw, I know what's amiss.

  • @KARENK72886 Any bear would have to watch out around me! Right? No, I would hope they would sense my gentle nature and sit down to share knowledge with me. Yes, I always bring a little too much food; I guess I like to have extra in case I end up having to stay over night or several days out there. Oh, thanks! I had a good time documenting my journey and taking the time to capture what I experienced. Yes, those were powerful waves! Nessie! Where? I bet you DO know what's amiss!

  • @rovingrepairbot Yes, it made me hungry, funnily enough! Great stuff! I think what's amiss is...a KFC big bucket? kidding. Brilliant stuff! :)

  • @KARENK72886 2nd or 3rd time watched now, thanks! Inspiring...when I'm back from freezing my bot off in NY, I'm off to my fave lake!!! Thanks, the music does help make me know how epic this journey was for you. While I'm at it, great editing...más!

  • @KARENK72886 Well, this was super nice to hear! Repeat views I earn? Wow! Very goovitudinal! Hey you SHOULD come to the lake! Would be a nice package with NYC! See the HUGE city and then come see the beautiful outdoors of the Pacific Northwest! Like the editing? Thank you! I tried to make it snappy AND dramatic!

  • @rovingrepairbot goovitudinal! hehe Yes, liked the editing, flows well, like the lake's lapping waves! It is pretty snappy, mildly dramatic...mildly ar...uh, better not! Yes, wouldn't that be a good package! Would be gr8! :) Thanks

  • @KARENK72886 Haha! I didn't realize it would come across THAT way! Ha!

  • @rovingrepairbot I haven't the foggiest idea what you're talking about! ha!

  • @KARENK72886 Haha, sure!

  • @KARENK72886 Ha! Actually, a companion/friend was missing. Someone to share the experience with! ......BUT! A couple weeks later, she came with me and I reenacted the whole adventure!

  • @rovingrepairbot Well, just what the doc ordered!! :)

  • Perfect stress-buster, this is. Beautiful place...and hey, that fancy sandwich looked pretty good. Ha. Great job putting this vid together.

  • @dhog41 Yes, it's a wonderful location. I should have pulled it out of the wrapping and shown it! It was SO good! Very nice cut of beef with piles of sauteed onions and havarti cheese. I don't usually put onions on my sandwiches, but this was delicious! Thanks! I tried to make it interesting and fun to watch. I am glad I never dropped the camera in the drink! Would have ended things fast!
