Ah, maybe you just haven't stumbled upon any good ones :). I prefer anime that is recommended for people age 16 and older. Try Wolf's Rain and Lament of the Lamb. totally different than that baby-anime stuff. You might enjoy them. And if you're into vampires but don't really dig the entire Twilight shindig, I strongly suggest you look up Lament of the Lamb. A whole new twist on the idea. Gotta love the Japanese :)

It's like one person has been drawing it since the late `50's and has never stopped because EVERY characxter looks exctly the same!! I don't like their very limited animation, either.
