  • this makes me so happy!

  • The whole movie was fantastic. This clip is the only major flaw, OK, at a "musical workshop", and tori sings this cute song and does her little number...She nails it! Yet they all think it is so bad? This is the only part that doesn't make sense.

  • An absolutely tremendous film, and Tori flawless in every scene. Makes one wish she'd had better scripts and directors in other projects.

  • I really like Tori in this film. I would love to see her do more indie work like this. For the past 20 years, I have watched Tori--from 90210 to countless Lifetime tv movies. The woman can actually act. Honestly, she is better at playing goofy roles like this and her work in Scary Movie 2. When she tries to play "sexy vixen," it just comes off like a really cheesy, bad joke.

  • @iamcasihart I did too. Only Tori could have really play this the way she did.

  • this seems very gilda radner inspired. from her broadway play

  • This is Tori's best work ever ! She was great in this film. And, she reminded me of every actress I ever met during my time in theater.

  • I just love Tori in this movie!! One of my favorite movie scenes!!!

  • does anyone know where i can find the paino sheet music for this song?

  • i would like it too xoxo

  • She really is a comedian :)

  • I don't agree with organboi!! I LOVE this song! Great melody -- catchy, catchy, catchy. Great chord changes and captures the vaudeville feel just right. LOVE THE SONG. Tori Spelling did a great job in this role, too. Sweet movie!

  • Hey organboi,

Jealous are you??? Speaking of her being out a breath at the end of the song, she did hold the last note for a while, and really, perhaps the deep breaths are added for effect.

But the bottom line, it's only a movie clip. Chill out, dude.

  • @shooster11 hey shooster, just reading this now. you really need to chill. THIS FILM IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES! i was joking you moron.

  • @organboi - Kiss my ass, you moron!!

  • @shooster11 organboi is right asshole moron, he was obviously joking. chill out. the guy just said it was like his fave movie. wow, such hatred going around here. get off this post. if you were cute, i may like to kiss your ass afterall.

  • @shooster11 i just read organboi's posting again and it was a rave posting about the scene and about tori's acting, and you analyzed the crap out of his lovely statement. And you have the balls to tell organboi to chill out. His posting was utterly chilled and charming. Tori is ACTING you moron, and doing a great job at it. It's supposed to be funny, moron. this is not a serious scene. Get a life, and stop being a jealous hater.

  • @goodguysdoll - I am very cute and many guys have told me. Regardless, you too are cordially invited to kiss my ass too, dipshit.

  • The point of this scene is Gabriel is NOT an amazing playright. Katherine is NOT an amazing actress or singer or dancer (God knows she THINKS she is.) The writing critics are NOT exactly insightful. This is just here to prove that this is not glamorous broadway new york life. These are wannabe artists who really shouldn't quit their day jobs but are HAVING FUN and giving it their best shot to make it. And it presents the movie's central theme song in a hilarious and warm/charming way.

  • she is just great - best thing she's ever done BRAVO

  • was this a tv movie? is that really tori singing? =)

  • i'm sure it really is her singing.

  • "Trick" was an independent film released in 1998 and written and directed by Jim Fall.

  • And yes . . . that really is Tori singing! :-D

  • I like her in this movie. And I have the soundtrack too!!!

  • This is hilarious and cute! Go Tori!

  • While I might be a bit biased, I must say this is my favorite role by Tori Spelling. She's so on with all of the neuroticism throughout the movie (and who doesn't like her scene in the diner?). Love Always!

  • Tori always brings a smile to my face when I watch this scene. She deserves some props for this. Who knew.

  • i love this does any1 know if the guys version is on the soundtrack to ?

    xxx

  • Yep it is

  • do you know were i can find it?

    thanks x

  • You need to buy the soundtrack for the movie "Trick" its all there.

  • i love this movie i just finished watching this movie for like the 100th time

  • Go Tor-a-la!
