I wouldn't mind the wifi version, especially since no extra charges to surf and browse and long as you're connected somewhere. The only issue I guess is that you can't surf and browse anywhere at anytime. But honestly, I don't know how much I'd be doing that anyway.

The only way you can really test this is to reset Safari or preform this test out of the box for both iPads. I have the 64GB 3G model and can tell you it runs faster at home with Wifi, than when I'm out on the road using 3G. Not as fast as what this video is showing though.
Don't you understand 3G? 3G coverage varies completely to your location, two miles down the road to where you live it could be alot slower. So what your showing us is 3G speed, in your house.

while you was opening safari u hit the safari icon on the 3g a little bit slow.. but ipad wifi still beats 3g cuz its on 3g speed and not on wifi try it one time

But still, it'll be nice to have in a pinch when on the road. I was curious tho....if you sign up for the 250 MB 3G plan....can you CHOOSE to use the ATT wifi only and turn 3G off completely? And if so, is it free and unlimited? I mean does the ATT wifi time eat into the 250MB data cap if you are using a ATT wifi hotspot?
@wuweiwarrior Hi and thanks for watching... But the good news is 3G can be turned off and when you are using Wifi ATT or any other it doesnt take any of your 3G MBs... But I dont know for sure if you can use ATT WiFi hotspots free unless your using your iPhone... Ill check it out when im at McDonalds again:)

It much better to get the 3g ipad. You can go almost any place and get a connection.... Not true with the wifi only.
