The Rock's Hobbs is not an antagonist, Hernan Reyes is the antagonist.... Reyes is the one who's trying to kill Toretto. Hobbs on the other hand, is just doing his job by trying to catch a notorious criminal he was assigned to. Making him a neutral character... He is NOT the antagonist... It isnt about Vin vs Dwayne. It's about Dom Vs Hobbs. If you're talking about physique, both are more or less equal in height and in build. You can't say one is lesser than the other. And the most important thing in a fight is not just physique but the mindset of the fighter. Even if a 12 year old hits your groin, you're down, no matter how muscular you are. You can't judge the winner just based on the physique. There r numerous real fight vids on youtube to prove my point

At one point, Hobbs had Dom. At one point, it seemed as if Dom would lose to Hobbs. But it's the sight of Mia that gave him the strength to keep fighting. You would have also noticed that Dom didn't win easily. It was a very very narrow victory. So, it was a fair fight.

@humantargetdeadpool i agree with you man but in the fight at one point hobbs had him but then Dom saw his sister being held at gunpoint and remember she was pregant so his adrenaline kicked in at that point. Alot of crazy shit happens when your adrenaline comes in.

@humantargetdeadpool well that's true in real life the rock would probably wreck Vin Diesel, but for film and epic purposes of two animals colliding, they had to make them go head up with Vin winning in the end(barely winning). And it's not completely unrealistic. Just because someone has a better build doesn't necessarily guarantee a win. Diesel was actually fighting for something, while rock was just looking to kick ass....

It isnt about Vin vs Dwayne. It's about Dom Vs Hobbs. If you're talking about physique, both are more or less equal in height and in build. You can't say one is lesser than the other. And the most important thing in a fight is not just physique but the mindset of the fighter. Even if a 12 year old hits your groin, you're down, no matter how muscular you are. You can't judge the winner just based on the physique. There r numerous real fight vids on youtube to prove my point

@macadom222 Ha ha, Vin is shorter...and he only got a big chest, and som wide shoulders, but The Rock`s arm`s are twice as big. Vin Diesel he never came to 180kg in bench press (4 plates on each side), The Rock benching 220kg.

Being bigger doesn't guarantee a win. That's my point. And yeah, I was wrong about both of them being more or less equal in height. Btw, you would have watched the movie by now. At one point, Hobbs had Dom. At one point, it seemed as if Dom would lose to Hobbs. But it's the sight of Mia that gave him the strength to keep fighting. You would have also noticed that Dom didn't win easily. It was a very very narrow victory. So, it was a fair fight.
