  • Which article should we use infront of these words: hour, university, uniform, ect.

I think that when we talk about article we should relate it with the phoneme not with letter for the reason that letter sometimes is silent . As a result we have: an hour, a university, a unifrom.

  • i got nice teacher. first time in life i came to knew English grammar.

  • Thank you

  • It's useful but it would be better with CC.

  • thanks you so much for this .you know that i have a final exam in these lessons and i was looking for explination .and you explain this in a good good good manner .thank you so much teacher

  • One thing I'd like to point out. You can't say " AN UNIVERSITY ". It's always " A UNIVERSITY " .

  • Disnote, there are certain rules you have to follow. And of course , what you are writing it is explained in the rules. Any teacher can explain how to use the articles, I am an ESL teacher in the state of California in the USA. I teach British Grammar, and American Grammar. If you have a question write back, or ask "srimansrini" because she is a wonderful teacher.

  • thank you
