I wish you could have said something about Dichterliebe and Die Schöne Müllerin ! i could'nt agree more with those choices. I love German lieder, and I think those two cycles are among the most beautiful and touching works in that style. I've sung excerpts of both, and it's definitely among my favorite things to sing.
