depends on how big the frog is and how big the mouse/rat is. i usually keep about a dozen fairy large goldfish in the tank to clean up some of the frog sausages and to be a snack for the frogs. my frogs were twice a week. food was usually about half their body size but they can eat something almost as big as themselves. Id say once a week is good. If you dont feed rodents at all just put more fish.

depends on how big the bullfrog is. most like rodents when they are big but smaller bullfrogs like large crickets. my bullfrogs especially the albino are extremely aggressive.

@stevenlbc562 goldfish are a must. Feeding too many rodents causes nasty water and possible compaction. I like to feed them goldfish to help give their system a rest.

Lol, i saw the guppy in there, my bullfrog is just a baby and I tried to feed it guppies, but the 4 inch goldfish I have ate them all.

baby bullfrogs can eat lots of stuff from medium crickets to small fish like minnows. you can also feed them spinach...if you boil it and than freeze it u can break chips off about quarter size and they will eat that.

Nice frog! Bullfrogs have never been my thing, I go for mainly the pacs and pyxies. These just seem too high maintenance.
