Hook that same 2500.1 up to your Solobaric L7 12 and it would do the same thing. Power ratings on subs are there for a reason. If it says 800 Watts RMS/1600 Watts Peak, 2500 Watts RMS (probably not real RMS bc you are using a Kicker amp) is going to blow any speaker with those ratings.

@HolyShitNewsTV There is nothing to hold the sub down. The virbations are causing it to jump up and down so there is no resistance for the bass to kick into. Thus, you get the indentions. Any sub with flex like that will do it.

@bluntchild11 The ring thing in the middle of your subwoofer is a voice coil, you can't just glue it back together, it will get off balance, rup against the magnet and die again, PLus it will gather more heat and blow even faster, a recone of what ever brand you have only costs like $25, but is a bitch to tear a sub appart, i mean emotionaly wise. Search on google on how to recone a subwoofer.

Companies like AA, Fi and SoundStream all make better products, but an AA Mayhem is only $570 up here where as a W7 is $600+ don't get me wron I've heard jl and it bangs! I would have bought that T1 from you instead of a new one and put some cash in your pocket, along with saving some money. EVEN if it had a bad coil, because rockford will do recones for 150 dollars. I hope you know some people cannot afford subwoofers as nice as these, or even subwoofers at all. Seeing destroying what could have been either givin to someone or sold to someone who cannot afford a new in box woofer, kinda makes me wonder where the world is going to.

I have 2 t1 15's and these are the truth.I had 2 15 " cvx and these were the better.
Of cource there are others that might be better. these dont take alot to push them but they can handle alot of power.And by the way blowing speakers dont make no sence.....

@bluntchild11 The ring thing in the middle of your subwoofer is a voice coil, you can't just glue it back together, it will get off balance, rup against the magnet and die again, PLus it will gather more heat and blow even faster, a recone of what ever brand you have only costs like $25, but is a bitch to tear a sub appart, i mean emotionaly wise. Search on google on how to recone a subwoofer.

Jlaudio12w7man@ jl audio does make good subs and amps, but that does come at a hefty price. Companies like AA, Fi and SoundStream all make better products, but an AA Mayhem is only $570 up here where as a W7 is $600+ don't get me wron I've heard jl and it bangs! But compared to those companies jl isn't as good.
