  • Wasn't too bad. I liked the ones with the Ant and the Aardvark. Appears that John Byner came back to voice them.

  • This new pink panther SUCKS. Damn, they think that with weak, unfunny humor can make it like before. Pathetic crap

  • @shinyguts Meh. You have a right to your opinion but I grew up on this and it's funny. I like the originals too - they are great.

  • Pinkie Panther.

  • Don't think Pink...think Frewer! :D

  • i know that voice sounded somewhat familiar its max headroom

  • I loved the ones where he spoke. The fact is the series was good quality 90s Cartooning.

  • Why Is the MGM lion silver? YAY!!!!!!!!!!!! Wait...what? The MGM virus!

  • The best theme music. Shouldn't have made him speak though.

  • when I saw this for the first time and he spoke, I flipped out..

  • I loved watching this back in 1993! I was a 4th grader then but I can't forget the theme either!

  • animation by WANG film productions?!hahahahahahahaahaahahahaha!!!

  • @adshield Yes, it was founded by a Taiwanese guy named James Wang. Watch almost anything made by Hanna-Barbera or Warner Bros. in the early-to-mid 1990s and you're bound to see Wang Film Productions in the credits; "Garfield and Friends" used them as well.

  • suprisingly, dan castalanetta, the voice of homer simpson is in the cast, too ;)

  • Das weckt erinnerungen :D

  • aw man i've been looking for this series for years!

I knew there was a time he talked.

  • Maaan... what happend with good stuff like this ;(

  • @ToastyDx Dude, he talked in this series. The only good thing was the music.

  • Pink Panther: Thiiiiiink Pink.

  • the best intro, better than the first and the one of 2010

  • ok for everyone i readed some coments and i need to tell you : in these series off pink panther is the panther talking and in the other series not

  • are they any episodes of this series on youtube?

  • 0:55 WTF???? THE PINK PANTHER TALKS??? WTF????

  • yeah....pink panther should NEVER...EVER talk, thats what made it so ingenious, that anything could be expressed without a single word

  • @acouragefann And yet, there were parts in the original where he did in fact talk, and had quite the suave voice. they were just very rare, even rarer thn Snoopy in the Chrlie Brown cartoons.

  • @StrickenRecord they were brief, and were never required for comedic effect, while here, the series relies on it.

  • This was the best theme for the Pink Panther!

  • Even the aardvark made a cameo, I loved him!

  • NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PINK PANTHER CANNOT TALK!!!!!!! IT RUINS THE OLD PINK PANTHER! I'M ONLY 14 AND I REMEBER THE OLD ONE VERY WELL! HE CAN'T TALK IT JUST ISN'T NATURAL!!!!

  • The Camelot Entertainment theme is just the same as the KingWorld theme. Awesome!

  • Found a version on tape with a slightly different version of the theme. This would have made a great late-night show theme, and this is a rare example of a normally mute character getting a voice that fits (helps that it's Matt Frewer of "Max Headroom" notoriety).

  • @Market42Fan I didn't recognize the name, but I looked up Matt, and he also did Panic in Hercules! :O

  • Ok,..... a fucking rocking theme.....

and the Pink Panther talks.... and the voice actually is a fit!

    ........THIS IS AWESOMESAUCE TIMES 10!

  • Haha, love this <3

  • I think This TV should air this show weekday mornings in my opinion.

  • I remember this new version of Pink Panther back then.

  • Nothing better than the original intro...

  • YEah!........Jazzy!

  • I liked this one and the newest one, Pink Panther and Pals.

  • IT TOCKS!!!!!!!!!O_O

  • 0:38 So they brought The Ant And The Aardvark back in this 1990s show? that's good, those two were always two of my favorite characters from the original Pink Panther show.

  • XD I was l\verry little when i watched this cartoons!OO OMG I love pink panter! ^^

  • one of my favorite cartoon-intros/outros

  • hei can you upload some this episode?

  • the anteater was the best xD

  • omg i remeber this it's the 80's pink panther cartoons

  • You're about a decade off there. This is 1993-1994.

  • I used to see this on WB after school in 97-98. Its also the network where the Superfriends lost episodes appeared on Batman/Superman adventures.

  • 90's actually. The 80's one had kid Pink Panthers that all spoke but Pink stayed quiet.

  • I never heard of this version but i like this one better than the other one

  • I am totally learning this on my alto sax.

  • I used to watch this show alot in the first grade.

  • Oh, no....give me the late 1960s version any day!!!

  • no not this the other one!!!! DAMN YOU!!!

  • The Pink Panther talked in all the episodes in this series.

  • What I never got about this show, was whyt hey had the unfunny ant and anteater, but not the Inspector ?

  • ah memories..i liked this show when i was a kid

  • Some episodes of this show are really hard to find. I really like this show. :) / :(

  • i hope they release this of dvd

  • It is on DVD. I've had it for at least 2 years now. The whole collection.

  • the 1993 series i have not seen it anywhere

  • 1993? Didn't know they had that!? I have the classic collection.

  • Comment removed

  • I remember watching this show when I was a kid. The theme song is awesome!

  • I haven't seen this since last millennium!

  • amen. i figured that this theme had a very good beat. and the pink panther talkin'? that's awesome!

  • THIIIINK PINK!!!

  • WTF?!?!?! HE NEVER TALKED!! WHEN WAS THIS MADE. Oh and how does this connect to the movie?? He's not a diamond

  • 1994.

Actually, Pink did speak in 2 animated shorts ("Pink Ice" and another one). His voice was provided by Rich Little doing a David Niven impression.

  • this is about the character

he can talk but he doesent want to

they finaily found a perfiict voice for him

and this was made in 1993

  • PINK PANTHER RULES!

  • The character designs look surprisingly similar to the Freleng's style.

  • thank you for pointing that out

  • @Invisib0 Considering he and David H. DePatie were consultants on this series, that shouldn't come as too much of a surprise. This was actually a very well-done version.

  • I LOVE IT!

  • das original von der rosarote panter ist viel besser...

  • king world music. remember?

  • The PINK PANTHER TALKS!!!!!!!

  • @ilikehobbes07 HOLY CRAP!!!

......AND IT'S ACTUALLY A GOOD VOICE!!! *head explodes*

  • Hmmmmm. Do I remember watching this and hearing that panther talk?

  • Interesting upload! I haven't seen this show in years! I always thought this cartoon was weird because Pink Panther could talk, but it was fun. If I remember, it was made up of three different "sketches" that would be played by each of the shows characters, always centered around Pink Panther.

I don't believe this has been shown in the US in years, but it looks like it is showing on Boomerang UK, as I can tell by the positioning of the logo bug, and the fact the video is in PAL.

  • Wow the music just screams early 90's. I remember watching this when I was 4 or 5 or so.

  • I remember seeing this show briefly on WWOR-TV (channel 9) back in around 1993, I remember the ending credits, the MGM TV Leo logo with the Tanner roar track, the Clasher logo and the Camelot logo.

The music for this Camelot logo came from KingWorld back in the 90's. Pretty weird, but I should call it KingWorld/Camelot Television Sales.

  • would have been cool if they would have had the PP in the MGM logo instead of Leo!!

  • They did that...in the trailers of the 2006 movie.

  • OMG!!!! I haven't seen this show for ages!!! I used to watch this show all the time when I was small and I saw this before I saw the 60s version. Thank you soooo much for posting this up!!! It really brought back the good memories!!

  • Excuse me? How I can find the episode of this series?

  • I'm serching the episode "Muff the magic dragon".

  • i can't beleive the pink panther TALKED

  • Thinnnnk, pink!" thats pink panther's catch phase!

  • That's pink panther's cath phase?

  • When I first saw this in the 90s I liked it. But now I much prefer the original 60s and 70s cartoons and music. This one is like all the other cartoons of the time by that production company, there isn't anything that really makes the Pink Panther a special character. You could replace him with Ace Ventura or the Dumb and Dumber characters and it wouldn't really make any difference.

  • I've never seen this version of the show.

  • YES I finally found it! I've been looking for this version theme song for ages! Thank you for putting this up!

  • "Thinnnnk, pink!" lol

  • Best PP remix ever!

  • I love this the pink panther.

  • In swedish he says " Tänk Rosa "

  • aaa

  • One thing I liked about this cartoon was the Inspector's new design, true to the 1960's design from A Shot in the Dark and the cartoon series but with more hair and a thicker mustache to more look like the real Clouseau and with the mixture of the 90's style (the 90's had a certain style if you look closely).

  • Oh man, I remember when this show was on. For me it was on at 6:00 AM in the morning before school on weekdays. I would love watching this show because Pink could actually talk. I watched the old shorts and he never did, and that made me mad. Now that I'm older, I like them more.

  • why WHY they needed to remake it?

  • HOLY SHIT ANT AND THE AARDVARK COOL

havent seen those guys in a while

  • If anybody has the actual 1993 series of this cartoon, PLEASE upload it or tell me where to find it. If you know where, I would GLADLY download then upload.

  • Oh My Goosh!!! I used to watch this show all the time when I was In first grade! the show aired at 2:30 PM and I was always there to watch!!

  • seen it yesterday! lets chat

    im bored on cam yu

  • How can I get that opening/closing music??

  • Seconded. Can't find it anywhere.

  • Nice seeing Camelots skyline logo again.

  • Wasn't there another version of the intro and outro to this show? If so, how come it's not on YouTube?

  • Yeah, this isn't the original. :(

  • What are you saying?

  • There was one intro that had Thelma on it and the credits that list Jim Cummings there. Too bad that's not up on YouTube.

  • This is awesome because he used to talk in this one. He reminded me of a hipster except the kind that's actually cool and not a douchebag. You know the kind that claims they don't support animal torture by being vegetarian/vegan, but yet supports the torture and murder of their own species by smoking.

  • Friz Frelengs swan song. RIP

  • Damn i can listen to this all day :D

  • buzzin :)

  • The voice of the Pink Panther in the 90`s revivial is the Voice of Max Headroom...

    Matt Frewer

  • one of my all time favorite as a kid, love this show.

  • Think Pink!

  • The pink panther talks? Since when?

  • F.Y.I. The "Pinkster" spoke in 2 early episodes,Pink Ice & another episode that co starred Paul Frees as a hunter who builds a "Noah's Ark. Rich Little did the voices in those two cartoons. Matt "Max Headroom" Frewer did the "Pink One" voice in the 1990's version.

  • This was probably the whole reason why I stopped watching old Pink.

  • Well..Hanna-Barbera's "Pink Panther & Sons was (to my opinion) far worst than the "all new 1990's version" in fact this newer version nearly shows all of the charaters of the original series from the 1960's-1970' brosdcast runs on NBC.

  • I heard there was another intro for one of the later seasons.

  • They said that Joe Pesci voiced the Dogfather, but he isn't in the credits. Unless someone else voiced the Dogfather.

  • Catchy tune!

  • The shit, no exceptions

  • This wasn't as good as the classic pink panther shows, but it was well worth watching for Ant and the Aardvark =)

  • Two words to that musical arrangement:

    PURE AWESOMENESS.

  • I LOVE THIS SHOW!!

  • wow this used to be my favorite show when i was a kid

  • Thiiiiiink pink! LOL! I miss watching this early 90's version of Pink Panther...

  • man the pink panther is the bomb. i loved him as a kid and i still love him today.

  • i dont ever remember the pink panther being like that

  • i didn't know that the pink panther can talk?

  • In the old versions, he spoke in two episodes, one quote was "Why can't man be more like animals?"

  • That was the "Noah Ark" episode (sorry can't recall the title right now) that also co-starred Paul Frees as the hunter.

  • I know, (Sink Pink), and the other was Pink Ice, where he spoke more frequently

  • Rich Little did the voices in those 2 episode (Sink Pink & Pink Ice) He used a "proper" British accent to do the Pink Panther's voice.& in "Pink Ice" the also did the voices of the 2 diamond rustling partners in crime (AKA the 2 rivals in the diamond mining business.

  • yeah, i recall that one, too......sounded an awful lot like Rex Harrison(though it probably wasn't)....

  • This kind of animation makes me want to

    lick the computer screen!

i just love fast paced animation with

soft jazz and a good drum beat!

Did he just talk by the way?

    thats just weird

  • Pinkkk...Pink :D

  • So I'm guessing that you can't aired any episodes from "The Pink Panther (1993 Series)", huh?

  • The jingle in the Camelot logo is the same one used in the King World pre-1999 logo.

  • Did I see Joe Piscipo in the credits? Haha, oh lord.

  • Now that you mention it, the aardvark did sound like him...

  • The aardvark was voiced by John Byner who does some voice work for Family Guy

  • Ah! That's right. Thanks!

  • John Byner did not do voice work in Family Guy.

  • He does so...AND He's a Staff Writer.

  • Whoops, I must correct myself...John BYNER was the voice of the Aardvark. John VYNER is the one who voices/writes for Family Guy.

Also he did commercials for Orange Juice in around 2006.

There, now I have corrected myself.

  • Hey thats okay buddy everybody makes mistakes!!!!

  • His name is actually John Viener not John Vyner.

  • Byner.

  • I meant John Viener is the one who wrote and acted for "Family Guy." John Byner did the voices of the Ant and the Aardvark.

  • I'm STILL not sure about having the Pink Panther talk -- but if if HAS to have a voice, you couldn't make a better selection than Matt Frewer.

And since DPF created the character, they would be able to make that choice.

But, it's kind of like giving speech to Beep-Beep, The Road-Runner or Tom and Jerry. Some things just don't feel quite right.

  • I love the Panther's voice, it's soo sexy, but as sexier then Rich Little's and CartoonkingDB's redubs.

Say are you doing to air some episodes from this series.

  • Pink panther in farsi is Pelange-soorati.

  • I Know pink panther persain in farsi is pelange-soorati.

  • The music on this is cool! is there any episodes on here? & always Think pink. :)

  • Yay! The classic Claster(which is also at the end of the James Bond Jr. cartoons.) & Camelot logos! It's been forever since I've seen those logos!

  • As I said, the music for this logo for Camelot was stolen by KingWorld.

  • Not stolen, really, but borrowed. Camelot was a division of KingWorld that sold advertisements on syndicated programs. The name even makes the connection make sense if you think about it, like King Arthur and Camelot.

  • This is so far the last tv-show with PP, witch was canceled in 1995. I hope some studio will make another soon. The last fourty years, there's been made a new PP tv-series about every ten years, so it is now 3 years overdue...

  • Well, you can count on MGM Television. They should get with someone for an new Pink Panther cartoon show.

  • there was an alternate intro sequence to this show. Does anyone have it?

  • man! this is the Pink Panther series i grew up on! Great stuff man!!

  • oh man, I love this series. I miss it.

  • Yep. In the '93 series the Panther was voiced by Matt Frewer (Max Headroom).

  • He-he can talk?!
