So, kwqwn, let us allow MaryAnne grow into the beautiful flower she is meant to be. Who knows, you may understand what she is creating for you. And I know it is always filled with her love. And anyway, I thought that we were all born from stardust, and so that makes us in a sense Suns of God. If you really think about it, the entire universe is composed of stardust, & elements.

Sorry, I've got to say it...the piano and drums felt a little overbearing and, frankly, annoying. I think I'd enjoy the song twice at much if it was just your radiant voice, with minor accompaniment.

But, It's just that some people who post need to evaluate the Way in which they express their ideas. Yeah Ive also noticed how some react anytime you change your hair or go to the dentist. "Something isn't right here! She CUT her hair, and got her TEETH cleaned! Oh, Agony! She's not MaryAnne anymore! I feel betrayed!" Those reactions are just altogether too bizarre.
The truth is most people are resistant to change. They have their routines and don't want to see it change. Unfortunely (fortunately?), that's not the way the world works. I'm glad that MaryAnne has the moxy to buck the trend and continues to expand.

She's not looking to be a star by doing things she doesn't want to do, or doesn't believe in, at least from my understanding. And anyway, I thought that we were all born from stardust, and so that makes us in a sense Suns of God. If you really think about it, the entire universe is composed of stardust, & elements.
I hope she keeps doing what she believes is the right way to go, because what's the point of life if you don't at least have the freedom to choose?

Sorry, I've got to say it...the piano and drums felt a little overbearing and, frankly, annoying. I think I'd enjoy the song twice at much if it was just your radiant voice, with minor accompaniment.

Nice song, nice photography, excellent voice! Now 2 aspects I would change to make it perfect (in my opinion).
"Cause I love you don't care who you AAAAAre" if this was an AHHH instead of an aaaa it would sound nicer to my ear.
About the video.. How about a nice setting? A context to the song? It is nice to see you but it seems to be narcisistically centered in you. How about you in a simple beautiful garden singing with some landscape shots in between, like a pond and flowers?

Well, I learned something new--that you can have two different playback qualities on the same video by adding the paramter "fmt" with a value of "18". Did you only upload one video, or does "fmt" select between alternate uploads with the same name?
Curiouser and curiouser... but then I'm an engineer (a former chip designer) so this kind of stuff intrigues me.
Interesting song and performance. Nice voice, yes, but it's the personality that comes through that I love. Keep it up!

Putting on headphones and listening in high quality makes a big difference, wow! I love how you slowly build in your background vocals; captivating. I also like when you change the filter/focus at 1:19. All these things you do with your originals sound great and are really interesting. Keep doing what you do.

Unfortunatley the medium allows for errors in communication. I must apologize that I didn't have enough room to say that it was an analogy . Man this is such a step back--like 80's crappy oversynthesized. Anyone can put that much echo on a song and sound good; you can't even tell that she has a particularly great voice.
But you can't do much for a song with lyrics like that even if you are Ysabellabrava.

The only person who can hold back Maryanne is Maryanne. Since Youtube is a open forum, every person is entitled to their own opinion. But, It's just that some people who post need to evaluate the Way in which they express their ideas. In fencing, especially, a teacher who constantly says "you're not," is giving the student information that is really not as helpful as saying "a little more (this)" or a "more of (that)." In this way the student receives useful feedback for use at their discretion.

I disagree.I disagree with the notion that some people can only perform certain styles, etc. Within a certain degree of error tolerance, this is incorrect. This song is a typical rock style balled type song. Very much in the style of U2 and other bands. I would like to also like to give you credit for trying to give encouragement with your viewpoint. Almost anything can be repeated if you know the elements involved and practice puting them together. This is why we can pass knowledge to others

Really cool song & great voice/video as always YB. I don't understand how fans could ignore Ysabella's versatility, and her desire to express it. She's done the 'living room' covers, lots of diverse originals, comedy, vlogs, shown us her artwork, done collaborations...what else? We have a unique opportunity to share her talents and gifts, so why not just enjoy it? I'll admit I don't "get" everything she does, but I appreciate all of it. Dimeuno, actually they are correct in that she is lip syncing to her recording. She has acknowlegded, that she lip syncs to her originals, in previous comments. They are wrong if they think it's not actually her voice they are hearing.

fresh ideas and new things scare a lot of people. Anytime she does something new there's this backlash of odd comments about her hair, the type of song, if you see her below the shoulders, if her hands move, or whatever.
