Creator of this ID:Ok guys, let's play with some green screen suits and....A blender!XD

  • first was from 1992, not 1993!

  • @jasongunning2468 Thanks for the correction!

  • @aleiaxx .OMG..LOL..I did the same thing before and they never responded..jerks.. :(

  • @aleiaxx Not only does YTV have to do that, but so does Disney.

  • @aleiaxx the only major problem for teletoon retro is that they use retro shows that we're not really on teletoon (yogi bear, flinstones, hanna barbera, etc)

we need some real TELETOON like ROBOROACH,ANGELA ANACONDA,NED'S newt !!

  • @CoolMaster224 Hell yes we do! THrow some Freaky Stories and Stickin' Around in there too!

  • @transformerALEIA fuck YES

  • @CoolMaster224 And Mona the Vampire, DON'T DISS THAT WAS AN AMAZING SHOW.

  • wrong year. most of these were from 1994

  • I remember there used to be a couple of YTV ID's that showed a periscope submerging in a bowl of soup and a man coming out of a toilet. What were those all about? I wish someone had those, they used to scare the living daylights out of me.

  • ahh yes, those were the 90s!

  • Comment removed

  • holy shit, this used to scare the shit out of me when i was growning up i hid my coffee table everytime i saw this

  • O.O

  • I think I was about 9 or 10 years old at the time and I had the flu when this aired. THe first time I ever this I threw up all over my TV room. Thanks for the memories YTV!!!

  • dizziness never lies

  • the couch made me sick I don't know how I used to watch that

  • COMMING UP NEXT........TARZAN DAN AND THE HIT LIST!!!!!!...yay!

  • I remember that show...I never liked tarzan dan! only watched it when nothing was on and it was before "are you afraid of the dark?"

  • I used to write to them and they used to send me a real postcard signed by all the PJs and those puppet things. Ahh...the good old days, lol.

  • I know how you feel.I miss the shows like Reboot,Dragon Ball Z and so many others.

  • I miss the old ytv and teletoon programing from the 90's and early 2000

  • That blender ID made me laugh my head off! lmao!

  • There was this show that used to come on with a guy named Turk in it. But I can't remember anything else about it? Anyone help me out?

  • wtf

  • Does anyone remember a show called (correct me on spelling) "Xtreme" or "Extreme" with all the random clips of sports and other stuff with music playing the whole show? And at the end of the show they showed the track list of all the bands that had a song played in the show of that episode? It played early to mid 90s if I can remember correctly. Can anyone remember and help out on tracking this amazing show down?

  • lol i remember this!

  • they should make a ytv retro

  • they actualy are right now!!! only for 1 day though but its gonan show goosebumps radioactive sailor moon!:)

  • I miss old YTV. Of course, this is the year I was born, but still. Old YTV was awesome! Thanks for sharing :)

  • tru that like when they played sweet shows instead of spongebob and shit

  • I know! i miss that. I used to look foward to waking up for cartoons, but nowadays, I don't care. It really sucks. They should do a 90s special one time. That'd be awesome :)

  • i couldnt have said it better myself.its true every show ytv commercial.the short circuits it was genius.its something ill never forget.

  • you got that right. 90's ytv kicked ass now the 2000's ytv takes it up the ass.

  • The last 2 give me a siezure

  • Like the '92 ID compilation, I remember the first two IDs but not the last one. I do remember the "driving chair" from a few years later.

  • Classic, I liked this era better than the 'keep it weird' one.

  • I remember the ones with the chair and the blender.... this is around the time when i saw cable TV for the first time at someone else's house, and i still couldn't get used to the fact that you could keep pushing the channel button, and there'd be a station one after another.... hahaha

  • back in those days, cable TV had around 40 channels too LOL, and i thought that was a lot!! of course, back in those days, before the specialty channels were invented, cable TV was garbage because all you'd get are different CBC, CTV, and STV stations from around the country, all with the exact same programming....

haha I sound like an old man talking about the good ol' days, and I'm only 22 LOL

  • I got up to channel 24 when I was a kid. Luckily, YTV was/is 24!

  • ....for a split second I thought Sailor Moon was going to come on. Just for a second..T_T

  • Sailor Moon didn't premiere on YTV until 1995.

  • and be proud: ytv was the first north american television station to air it... ratings were so high and the show was so in-demand that the last 17 eps of SMR were dubbed specifically for the canadian viewers~!

  • SMR?

  • Sailor Moon: R

    :)

  • ah ok

  • Breaker High.

    :S

  • WHOA This is old! I wasent even born yet D:

  • that gave me a headache :S

  • Yeah, I must say, that blender. man, some freaky stuff goin on there. the chair is awesome.

  • flying chair and blender its freaky kindy scarey lol

  • Oops... the question mark after Wow was a mistake. Didn't want to sound sarcastic. Very cool vid.

  • Wow? I'm impressed... never seen YTV stuff like this before on YouTube. Thanks for sharing!!!!!!!!

  • I find this totally, totally amusing... but in a good way. You see, I'm 32 and remember being a young teen when YTV signed on in 1988. To me, THIS is they YTV I remember and will always cherish. It's weird how you'll never see it through my eyes and I'll never see the YTV you grew up on through yours.

  • I think I've must've gotten a seizure for watching those last two!

  • aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh. Too much pictures!

  • Plus, the chair lived again in 1995-1997. The chair drove. The ID was called "Driving Chair"

  • Those last two could give kids seizures!

  • I think that's where the sloagan "Keep It Wierd" came from. I remember these pretty well because I was 16. That flipping tiles one nearly broke my brain.

I wonder whose idea that spinning chair one was? I hope whoever created that station I.D. got fired for that boner.

  • That laughing blender used to scare the shit outta me nd my bro in the morning

  • Does anyone remember the pre-PJ years of YTV? Back when they played Fat Albert and My Favorite Martian (cartoon) reruns? In between programs they would play a series of mini vignettes... old stuff, like Edward Lear's "The Jumblies," and various folk tales, and people talking about faces, etc. YTV doesn't remember these, they're so old. Anyone besides me recollect?

  • were do u get this man

  • Those last 2 would send an epileptic soaring!

  • That blender hanunted me throughout my youth

  • the blender in my opinoin is the best one out of all three.

  • I haven't seen these idents for a long time!! My favourite part is the whoosing one! Thanks for sharing these!

  • wow those are old!

  • I LOVE YTV!

  • Weird, but good

  • I totally forgot about that promo until I saw this. Very cool. Thanks so much for sharing it :)
