The new eclipses are made by mitsubishi, this one has the mitsu badge but its a joint cooperation with Mitsubishi and Chrysler, so its called a DSM = Diamond Star Motors.

@fkBowdown ummm you fail . stop talking bout things you obviously dont know . 96 1/2 and newer 2g have mitsubishi sticker on the passenger side firewall . and gst and gsx have no chrysler logos anywhere on the car ... the only thing chrysler is the 420a non turbo engine and tranny combo . i should know cuz ive built 420a and 4g63 engines on eclipse avenger sebring talon all of which were built at the dsm plant which changed to mitsubishi plant in the later part of 1995 . its not a dsm pal .

Launch control is not the revlimiter people!! Its a setting that randomly kills a cylinder(at an rpm that you choose to set at) that pretty much tricks the motor into building boost at a stop!!
