Most of the changed in Snow Leopard will be "under the hood". They're optimising and streamlining more or less everything so it runs faster and more stable than before whilst also being smaller in size and so on. This will be all about performance which IMO is worth the upgrade cost. Leopard as it is now is still far more efficient than Vista, so imagine it under Snow Leopard? Apparently hardware requirements are going to drop by like 33% of Leopard.
