I had this on the Snes, the controls are horrible i couldn't pull off one special move as a kid and i'm pretty good at MK and Street Fighter.

i got this for the ps2 and when ever i do the fatality where vertigo shrinks the other dino and eats him the game freezes but besides that i love this game XD

Huh... there's one missing for Diablo. Must've been in a different version. He shoots a bunch of small fireballs that spiral around the guy and cook them. It was the only finisher I could do back in the day, lol.

Kinda funny. Game's obviously inspired by MK's hype back in the day. The one main thing I enjoyed about this game was slapping around your followers when they were praising you. Also eating them to heal was interesting. My only gripe was the way to perform fatalities for each character. Fav is always Talon. Little combo bugger, he is.

I wikipedia'd and it seems arcade emulation sucks for it, they protected it and can be really censored. What's the way to go ?

@mistamontiel I have never used MAME, so I will say that the Saturn version is the best port (SSF emu). It has sounds the PSX version lacks among other things as mentioned by, glitchhunter09, here in the comments. I have yet to find out if the cheat menu is present in this version. I made one button fatality codes for the SNES version, though. See thegshi.org site for the codes.

Yeh, wikipedia tells that as well, PS1's final battle music doesn't play and the lil ending tunes are something else.

@mistamontiel Saturn emulation is simple nowadays. EXE? That doesn't sound right at all. Disc image formats instead. I have not looked at the Wikipedia page in a long time. The PSX version uses 6 buttons. Not counting the extra two mapped for Hi/Lo Power.

I'm getting the PSX port though. I have the Genesis Port and have played the SNES port so I can't help but say, it doesn't really matter what system the game's on, I'll play it.

@glitchhunter09 I always wondered why those were missing? I also found it weird that the PSX and Saturn versions didn't have a cheat menu. Now that the PSX version is out, the Saturn version needs to be found. I checked the Saturn version earlier and saw that it had "Invisible Pause" and "Easy Fatalities" options. I might be able to figure out how to access them.

It needs the Fatality Jingle and the death tag music. That's the one thing that aggrevated me about so many of the 32-bit ports. Interestingly, the Sega Saturn version has this music for some odd reason..... It also has more FMVs than the PS1..... That being said, I wouldn't mind owning both the PS1 and Saturn versions as I'm a nut for PR regardless of the system. That's right, I enjoy playing all of of the ports except for maybe the hand helds and that's just because they were watered down bad.
