  • I do love their personalities and they seem active all the time, which means it'll be a great snake to watch when I don't have it out of the cage. I was concerned about their aggressive feeding behavior and it sounds scary but in all the feeding videos I seen they acted normal and just took the food quicker but not striking at everything that moved. I think I do want a woma now before a ball python. I'm coming to like ball pythons; use to hate them. But how they ball up and don't care is cute.

  • 40 gallon good

  • what substrate do you have in this tank at moment?

yep, they dig their own burrows or "steal" others'

  • what is the name of that song!! damnit brainfart!

  • hot side needs to be 100-104f mate, cool side you have right.

  • nice bro, fuck any haters and all that shit, i just got one of these snakes and he's fuckin awesome

  • stop apolgising for everything!

  • i just got one today. hes really mean. it might just be that he was shipped from virgina to ohio.hes 4 ft.

  • Want one so much ! But just got a beardie.

  • Thanks for the vid bro! Your woma is beautiful. I'm planning on buying one myself later this summer

  • how mush it cost a woma python ?

a friend is selling me a woma python in 300 that is ok or what?

  • hey, good video tho, im pretty postive the tempreture in the warm side of the tank should only reach approx. 34c -35c MAX and the cooler end should be at the lowest 24c-28c. i have two south australian womas they are beautful snakes. And i think the books have it wrong bout the climbing my lil guy loves to climb the female not so much but the male he loves it. but mine are just weird like most of my reptiles. Anyways love your videos good job!

  • Beautiful woma, cool waterbowl >.<

  • Nice video buddy, you pronounced the name right too lol :)

  • its aussie not ossy

  • its not aussy python its aussie

  • black headed pythons also dont have heat pits.

  • Nice Woma! always wanted one of those

  • mate i live in western australia were they are native i recently purchased a woma for starters you say tey dont have heat pits it is the black headed python to which you are refferring and that has been proven wrong your enclosure is boring as bat shit and lacks any stimulation you get on you tube and make a woma care video when its you who should online looking at how to care for your woma

  • I just recently got my Woma Python as well. Reason why people don't have these as their pets it's because they're endangered in Australia. Meaning no importing or exporting from Australia. If people do want them as a pet, they do put a whole in the wallet. Nonetheless, they're probably one of the most gorgeous snakes in the world. They actually get right around 6 to 7 feet as well. :]

  • Sock puppets rule!

  • What song for you intro

    good vid

  • great job man iam a qualified expert and ur definatley getting there and good try

  • Hey man, nice vid! Just a query, how long have you had a Woma? Just curious how much you feed a young Woma? I can't seem to find what size food to feed mine. Have you just been going off of the standard python food sizes?

  • Good vid. I hope to be getting a Woma this summer. Thanks!

  • YAY MGMT!! KIDS ROCKS!

  • where did u get ur woma from?

  • Great video bro you answered all my question about this snake. Now it's on my list to get. Thanks.

  • Really nice woma. I hope to get one if my mom lets me at the next in rptile expo in January 23. You know how you said you take yours out to feed well that may confuse them with feeding and handling. But hey thats the way you do it , I feed all my ball pythons in there cages but they do not act like there going to attack me but womas are agresive eaters. Nice vid!

  • THE ASPIDITES RAMSAYI AND ASPIDITIES MELANACEPHALOS BOTH HAVE HEAT SENSING PITS!!!! Look at the front of their mouth on the top lip. This was proven 3 years ago. Your Woma digging is a natural behaviour considering their natural environment is usually in termite mounds, and it involves them digging a bit. It also keeps them out of the 50+ degree (thats celcius) heat that is common in the Pilbara region where they are most common.

  • ok then well if what ur saying is true than thanks for the info, but I get ur statement just as well without the caps and "!!!!!!".

  • Not a problem, sorry i am just annoyed that even after 3 years there are still texts, and sites that have not been updated saying that neither have heat sensing pits. It's pure insanity. Anyway you seem to have a healthy Woma, and it looks nice. I'm looking forward to when i can upgrade my licence to keep a couple.

    Take it easy,

  • @r8erfaan too right :) Its a nice amateur care vid I think. I just liked seeing your gorgeous woma :D

  • @r8erfaan cool vid dude

  • @r8erfaan he must have been a bit outrageous with that comment.

maybe he also din't noticed the "I'm not an "expert" on your description?

    check out: Pilbara Pythons(dot)com videos

  • @r8erfaan download care sheet here:

    southernxreptiles(dot)com/Article%20PDFs/woma_lr(dot)pdf

    and watch this:

    pilbarapythons(dot)com/woma_video(dot)htm

  • @r8erfaan Head bobbing and tail wagging (it's not tail luring) mean they are excited about feeding time, not hunting as they only seem to do that in captivity?!

"Once they have reached adult size I have never owned or seen a woma that wants to bite out of aggression or out of fear. All their bites are related to food. When handling them, as with many species of python, it is a good idea to wash your hands and arms with a strong smelling soap so that errors of mistaken identity are avoided"

  • @MiddleOfNoWhere676 Yep, under their rostral scales!

  • raiders>pittsburg

  • u know it =). and nice account name.

  • @jesusislord144 Bucs>Raiders SBXXXVII

  • Can he go in a small little 10 gallon ?

  • one at the size mine is, probably not. They are usually a pretty active snake and need a good amount of room.

  • Nice video raiders suck though sorry/

  • ya... I know

  • @r8erfaan what is the song ?

  • Raiders suck! Lame team bro! But great video. Thanks for the info!

  • Your woma isnt crazy, its common geographical tendency. Aus = Hot (atleast where these are) so lacking a way to cool off they dig, kinda like a dog on a hot day.

  • great snake.i just got a male for $200,thanks for the info.

  • thanks, and no problem =)

  • yo were did u get the woma and how much was it

  • randy wright reptiles and was either 250 or 350. sorry I can't narrow it down too much, but my memory sucks. they're really nice there and have good prices.

  • thanks

  • great video what is the song called for your intro

  • kids, by mgmt... but beware, I couldn't get this song out of my head for weeks.

  • Really helpful vid, thats an awesome looking snake!

  • another good video :D, thanks for the tips how much did he cost you i think in one of ur other videos you said 350$?

  • Thanks! And come to think of it, I think he might have been 350. Man you know more about my snakes than me. Well even if I'm wrong, I'm only $100 away, haha.

  • testing my comments, they're not showin up.

  • 15 gallon?

  • ya, like you can fit 15 gallons into the tank.

  • if you want to know the real formula it is " length x width x height divided by 231 "

  • wow, shows how much I know, lol.

  • hhhah! i actuallly used to think the samething, so dont be discouraged lol... its a pretty simple calculation... and the measurements should be in inches btw....
