Bill O'reilly seems to care more about making sure he states his opinion over and over again, instead of interviewing the guests. Which makes me wonder, why does he even have guests on his show in the first place? Maybe his show should just be a non stop 1 hour rant. Its not like it would change anything. Much of America watches this guy and hangs on his every word. O'Reilly is a showman, not an intellectual. The typical workingman can watch his show and understand the content without much thinking, which is exactly why Fox is so popular. It hurts too much for most to read, think, and research. It is more convenient and even cathartic to sit back and let O'Reilly and Co. do the shouting, while Joe the Plumber sits in the recliner with a beer, nodding vacantly in agreement.

I hope O'Reilly dies a painful death... With that, Dawkins isn't that bad at debating. It appears that way because Billy seems to love not only repeating the same old arguments he's used against the same speaker, he also interrupts. In addition, there is a bit of a problem with the amount of time they're given to speak in the first place. Yes, of course Harris and Hitchens are very good debaters but they'd still have trouble making an argument in 2 minutes, while defending a position.

As far as I am aware Bill has only had Christopher once where they debated the use of torture. It seems odd that he has never debated Christopher on religion yet often has Richard. @TAz69x I'd argue that Dawkins does in fact know how to debate. It's just that he does so in a different style to Harris or Hitchens. Dawkins recognises that these are televised debates so seeks to come off better in the viewer's eyes, rather than O'Reilly's eyes. He presents his own argument as sound and logical, and in stark contrast to O'Reilly's bullshit, whereas Hitchens would fight every point of his opposition fiercely. Both styles are quite successful in my opinion.
