Davy Jones is my favorite antagonist. 2nd favorite character in all the movies. I love the theme. He was definitely the greatest. Excellent story. It's sad how he dies though. I think with him, the films are more epic.

I was extremely disappointed with Pirates 4. Seriously Disney, you really dropped the ball on this one. The new director you hired had a history of poor film-making. That was really stupid. Also the story was pathetic and anticlimactic. Black Beard had a lot of potential and he could have been developed way more. *sigh*

Pixar, an amazing film company, focuses on 1 thing before they do anything visual. STORY. Maybe you should do the same.

The reason why everyone got into the movies was because of the story, and also because it was simple to follow along. One storyline, one point, not multiple diversions running all around. @Bibi4119 Well, remember that Jones is by the far the most tragic and dynamic villain in the series, so his theme had to reflect the tragedy of his life, which it does beautifully. IMO, it is the best character theme song, surpassing Darth Vader's theme. Blackbeard, admittedly, was pretty cool, but there was nothing to hint at a far more complex character such as Jones, who had a few scenes that did show how he may have once been someone different.
