  • Congrats on the 1090T. Great bang for the buck! I love mine. Just as good as Bulldozer imo.

  • Great picks. :) It's amazing that CPUs like the AMD 1090t are already considered outdated and my 1156 socket MSI board with the i7 860 are now antiquated. :(

  • Looking good. Good to see your doing well.

  • Nice Purchase!!! I have red LED cold cathodes in my case, I like the cathodes better than having led fans, I like the Cooler Master R4 2000 rpm non led fans, so when i'm going to bed I can just turn off my monitor and cathodes :) I haven't uploaded any videos lately, but I got some new stuff as well, I got a Gigabyte GA-970A-D3 am3+ mobo(i'll be replacing soon with a sabertooth) amd fx-8150 3.6ghz x8, Patriot Viper Xtreme ddr3-1866 8gb 2x4gb 1.65v kit. the mobo I have only supports 1.5v though.

  • Cathode lights are boss! I would have preferred red though. I wanna try the nzxt sleeved led kit, see how they look compared to cathodes.

Wanna trade that 1090T for my laptop?

  • @BinaryLinux Red is OK but most look pink figured green was a color that wont look to bad if its a bit off on color.

  • Come on ! a 1090t and you'r being shy about it ? it's a fantastic CPU .. how much is it xD ?

And really nice purchases .. I never bought cathode lights before ,, so interesting to see how you are gonna work with it :)

  • @legendray2008 Thanks for kind words!

  • nice stuff you will like that 1090t i liked mine a lot.

  • Not a bad Christmas.

  • I got myself a new mobo platform and a new screen for Ifinity good luck on your projects

  • I have a 955 BE at 4GHz with 1.38V. My next CPU will be the 2500k or the ivy-bridge equivalent

  • uhh, you know Microcenter will give you a free M4N68T-M V2 or A780L3G when you buy a 1090T right? Even if you don't use it you can sell it to defray the cost of the CPU

  • @AgentHydra Damn you right totally forgot about that deal.

  • hee rick, what you think is better the x6 1090 or the FX 8120? i need a Christmas present to.

    The x6 1090 is 165,00 Euro , 220,84 Dollar

    The Fx 8120 is 200,00 Euro , 267,68 Dollar

Is the FX worth the extra 67 bucks?

  • can't see the price on the sticker :)

  • @MRKAMPAC look closer:P but in the video it says he did not pay the price of the sticker

  • That's a cpu I might get, too.

  • Very nice!

I bought some of those fan filters after seeing your other videos, they're great. Ripped out the crap filter that came with my CM Storm, much less dust now :)

  • nice AMD CPU upgrade, good choice. I was thinking of getting the 1090T or the 1100T as a upgrade from my phenom II X 4 955 CPU, and upgrading my phenom II X 2 550 i have in my test rig to the 955. I am suck on a motherboard though. ASUS crosshire V, Sabretooth 990FX,Gigabyte UD5, or UD7. what do you think?

  • @SylentCommando the 990fx boards are buggy though

  • For $20, you should have purchased the hyper 101, or you should have coughed up another $10 to get the hyper 212. BTW, great vids and keep em up!

    Merry Christmas!

    ~George

  • @ComputerTechTV Looking forward to seeing you overclock that 1090T. I've had my 1090T OC'd to 4Ghz for almost a year now with no crashes.

  • my athlon x4 620 isnt happy lol

  • i bet your unlocked dual core will perform the same as that hex core.

  • Should make a video, of you putting them onto your computer :P

  • All about the 1055T for the hardcore OC'er :D Those unlocked multi's are for kiddies! :-P J/K! Good snag, considering it's sold out everywhere! Now sell that 555! You'll get your cash back for sure. Good haul.

  • GAH! I'm so jealous! I need a 6 core cpu haha. My 955 just isn't cutting it anymore

  • @misterpc23 Really? I almost bought the X4 970 for $140 decided for like a few dollars more 1090T was better.

  • @ComputerTechTV Yeah, I use heavily multi threaded applications. I like to do 3d rendering every once in a while and I use y-cruncher to calculate different constants (Like Pi, (Though I'm pretty sure I hold the world record for the most digits of the square root of 3,5, and 7 (50 billion on 3 and 5, and 10 billion on 7))

  • @misterpc23 The Intel i5 2500K quad core is better then that peace of shit lol.

  • @whitemanwii It's also much more expensive...
