  • Thanks for the video! It helped a lot!!

  • @jlanky16 ur welcome, have fun

  • Thank you so much :) i gotta change my speedo because mine dosent work anymore, atleast now i know how to do it!.. Thanks alot for posting this vid! :)

  • my speedo just working, how do i know if its problem with the Speed sensor or the Cluster?

  • @TheFairladyz33 when my speedometer messed up the needle would go up but it would skip and go slow. It was inaccurate so i changed it to a working one. I would say most of the time its the speedometer, i doubt the speed sensor would mess up all of a sudden.

  • tightt

  • thanks for the step by step video, helped heaps!

  • @muzztech94 glad i could help.

  • damn thats too much lol

  • @TheJustin993 lol yea, but its entertaining, at least for me.

  • wow..... this is my car. why didnt you put the new one in?

  • @daniel2210123 i just replaced the speedometer on it, the rpm and everything else worked.

  • @ka24detpower Speedometer on mine doesn't work either!! Any advice? I would appreciate it.

  • @SupraKid98 You can switch out the MPH or the RPM seperately. On this one i was taking out, the speedometer wasnt working either, so i found a single cam cluster and took the speedometer part out and put it for my twim cam and it worked. The cluster is easy to take apart. Take off the plastic cover then unclip everything and then theres like 3 screws for the speedometer.

  • Thanks for this! So helpful!

  • @bev574 yw, have fun

  • you called the screws (bolts) and the bolts (screws) lol

  • @snipez411 yea, yea, i know...

  • nice! Gunna make fixing my Digital Speedo A LOT easier!

  • @racearizona888 glad i could help, i always wanted a digital cluster...

  • @ka24detpower Bought my 91 and the Cluster and HUD didnt work, and I FINALLY got one. really cool, but notorious for going bad. Im just stoked for the Head Up Display =)

  • They are the same bulbs. These Japanese car all share the same bulbs. So we can eliminate that. The day time driving light is not on, also the power mirror is not working. When I remove everything today I saw a black wire cut but nowhere to go. Also found some kinda alarm system on the car, with a siren. The guy cut some cables by the car deck area.

  • @bobwang890 so the problem is electrical, your going to have to find out where the wires are cut and connect them to the proper colors. i had a 240sx once that had an alarm before so i just swapped the ignition wiring that was intact from a junkyard 240sx. If the wiring behind the cluster is all cut up u can change it for another junkyard 240sx wiring. The part that connects to cluster is all plug and play. The wiring to the ignition is plug and play as well, so u can just switch it.

  • Hey. Thanks for the video. I did take the cluster out today. Replaces the bulbs. But it still won't light up. I took the bulbs from my wrecked integra. Then I looked at these bulbs. They are all good. So any thoughts?

  • @bobwang890 hmm thats weird. maybe they are not compatible bulbs. does the actual cluster work? if thats not the problem, then just check all the fuses everywhere. or just those bulbs weren't compatible, out of ideas. All the electrical good on the car?

  • It's so much easier on a teg. Lol

My teg is totaled. So just brought a 91 240 yesterday. But the cluster back lights does go on at all. So is it a fuse problem? Let me know. Thanks. Hope I don't have to take the cluster out. But if I do I will use your video as reference. Good job.

  • @bobwang890 Its not a fuse problem. There are like 3 small bulbs behind the cluster. To change the bulbs you will have to take off the cluster like i showed you. sorry man. You can see those small orange things(bulbs) on this video at the end of the video when i show the backside of the cluster. they have to be twisted to take them off.

  • I did this without removing the 12mm under the steering column. However, you will have way more room to work with if you do it your way. Good vid man.

  • @Hapsmash yea i get frustrated if i dont get enough room, lol. Thanks for your comment.
