  • "I still don't know where my happiness lies... I'll still think about why I'm here, and whether or not it was good to come back... but that's just stating the obvious, over and over...

    I am... myself."

  • @tehtrooper56 "But...Mother...What will you do, Mother?"

  • There's something wrong in this song D: , i hate the note at 0:26 i wanted it to play different xD

  • Adios madre

  • Wait...this sounds familiar...*looks up Borderline Case*

    It's...it's the same...song...

    *mind is blown*

  • @hotelmario510 Borderline Case is just a version of Do you love me.

  • @MasterShake43 WHOA MY GOD.

  • Sad...

  • Was Yui Ikari the real villain of the series? Perhaps we'll never know.

  • @hotelmario510 NO she was the real heroe she knew that sometime they wil try to do the 3rd impact so she posesed the Eva 1 to save all the humanity she was what they called Berserk mode and she made Shinji realize that his dream world wasn't good

  • @carlosemiliano00 You could see it either way, really. She might have just manipulated everything to a huge scheme in an attempt to break from SEELE's plans, making sure everything fell into place at the right moment, despite all the pain and hardship, and having to live forever entombed in the Eva, to ensure humanity advanced better and further. This basically makes her a bigger Gendo Ikari than Gendo Ikari. But is that truly "villainous"? Or is is another case of "Rousseau Was Right"?

  • @hotelmario510 she did this because she found out that this could repeat itself, thats y i think rebuild is a repeat. because kawrou in rebuild says "the third child again", and "not this time, shinji ikari " and there is a moon base with blood on the moon as well as other little odd reappearing things. maybe she knew that doing that, intime things would end alot better and maybe rebuild is just that, which would explain why rebuild has alot more positivity in the rebuild series than in NGE

  • @soap1st Shin-Gekijoban Q is supposed to take the Rebuild series in a darker direction. It will apparently split fans.

    Joy.

  • @hotelmario510 i guess that must start to shift in 3.0

1.0 had not too many changes from in the time of nge, and 2.0 kinda seemed like it gave hope , then at the end near 3rd impact that was crazy but good to see that shinji and rei connect more because in nge they didnt connect as much and rei seeme to try to act more human .

i guess 3.0 will be a turnning point

  • @soap1st Fun times.

  • Goodbye, Unit-01. Serve your obscure purpose!

  • the thing is, how can you hate this series? it was soo great in many ways. only a closed minded person could hate this series in my view.

  • @th3azscorpio I like to think of it like Marmite. You love it or you hate it.

  • @hotelmario510 yeah true, but regardless of which if someone watched it; it leaves it's impact on someone definitely..

  • @th3azscorpio Totally.

  • @th3azscorpio That's rather close minded of you, actually. Not everyone has to be a fan of something.

  • @cheezypotatoes ughh here we go again, people dont have to like this series, but they can at least have an open minded approach toward it. besides I said in "my" opinion they are closed minded. if you dont like it, thats fine...

  • goodbye....mother.....

  • 2 people are still L.C.L.

  • wow. this song actually gives me slight chills, i dont know why...guess EVA is just tht great :)

  • @OperationLongDive Same here, I shiver every time I hear an evangelion soundtrack

  • DAMN ... I guess I have to re-watch the whole NGE package :D AGAIN

  • @TheSilentbreed4 >Sadess parts of the movie

    What part wasn't sad..?

  • EOE is one of my favorite movies and arguably the greatest anime finale around. I watched it again today while stoned and WHOA! ^_^

  • this song reeks of tragedy and despair :(

  • Makes me wanna cry.

  • @cue0987 One more final: I need you

  • "Will you be all right, love?"

  • For some reason this song gives me a mental picture. It's like having to see my old pal being pulled to the sky and can't stop him from falling away skyward. It's like some kind of repelling gravity pulling him and I'm stuck on earth trying to stop my friend from going away. Then I'm left with a feeling of despair and helplessness of loss.

    Metaphorically, it's a true story.

  • @Helldiver450: sorry to hear....

  • "Even if the Earth, Moon, and Sun are lost, the Evangelion will be eternal proof of mankind's existence."

    "Goodbye, Mother."

  • If u don understand this anime u will hated it 4ever.....

if u hav understand this anime u will love it 4ever........

  • @chewinggum56 If you understand Evangelion then you do not understand Evangelion.

  • @AlphaOrigin That's so true.. XD

  • @chewinggum56: I cannot agree with you more.

  • Listening to this makes time slow down.

  • 涙が出てくる

  • This song REALLY meake me depressed. It's painfull farewell.

  • Yeah. =( Leaving what could really give you happiness for the sake of someone else is the hardest choice of all.

  • Pero al final, he encontrado la respuesta más obvia que podía esperar: Yo... soy... yo.

    Perfecto!

But I'm just stading the obvious over and over... I... am... myself.

    Perfect!

  • Bye Unit One.... :(

I'll always remember you kicking angel ass :\

  • @CannibalJeri Also Yui within!

  • this music...it reminds me of a hospital, where someone you care about just went into the emergency room, and you don't know...you don't know if they're going to make it...

  • to all the evangelion haters in the world i bid you a hefty FUCK YOU!

  • I 2nd that

  • If you can't understand - you hate.

  • @ishouldplayzelda Couldn't have said it stronger myself!

  • @ishouldplayzelda dont forget to tell em to burn in hell

  • makes me think of the end of a really huge evangelion-style mind rape.

  • otro nivel....

  • its not jume ITS YUME!!!!!!LADBNGÑGUOSGBIP>H[BSI{

  • All the music in End of Evangelion is so gorgeous.

It's kind of hard to describe, but it's some of the rare anime ost music that sounds good on its own, without the animation to accompany it, if that makes any sense.

  • "One more final: I NEED YOU"

  • "Goodbye, mother."

  • @Tsuta

    "Thank you, my father."

"And to the all the children, congratulations!"

  • This song makes me think of floating in an empty space alone, forever.

Given what I remember of EoE, that's not the most unusual image to think of.

  • Shinji says goodbye to his mother - who's going to live forever alone as Unit 01..

    ; ~ ;

  • For just being a piano version of Borderline Case, this sure is incredibly beautiful...

  • じゅめ の すきま。
