Group B was extremely dangerous, too much power in this conditions.

Driving a 500HP car to the limit on a little road between trees and spectators is totaly crazy.

I went to my first rally on Saturday.

Eppynt (Wales-GB) stage of the WRC..

I was impressed at the speed and was amazed at how they could keep the things on the track...

But then on the way home I realised that Back when Group B were THE rally car drivers didn't have anywhere near the sort of technology to give them a hand...

And they had more power...

and fans to contend with..

Just a shame I was born as it was taken away... =(

Good video and nice car...!Lancia was the best team of rallying!The S4 eroged 660cv and was the most dangerous car of the Group B....but also dangerous were Peugeot 205T16 and Audi Quattro Sport(S1 and E2).

The main problem wasn`t powerful engine -- anyway they did not race usually faster than 150 km/h. The fatal mistake was getting bodywork lighter and lighter and so it became weaker and weaker. Also the safety was the last problem for constructors. It killed both Bettega and Toivonen.

Check the video from 2:31 :) No one let start a rally cup where you can touch a rally car on the stage when it is in race. So those times are now over... :(
