Shouldn't we always refer to them as "banana Republicans," not Republicans?
Who else but "banana Republicans" could support unlimited executive power, family dynasties (Duvaliers, Bushes), secret renditions to torture chambers, mercenary armies, 100-year wars, warrantless wiretaps, McCarthyite witch hunts, and the end of habeas corpus?
You'd have to want to live in a banana republic.
Forget the elephant, Republicans, here comes the chaquita!
The right of every citizen to work in support of themselves and families through their own industry is a natural right. The exercise of that right is NOT the proper or legal subject of taxation. There is no place in the tax code that identifies U.S. citizens as persons liable to pay a tax on the exercise of that most sacred and natural right. Government may tax privileged activities within its authority to regulate certain modes of commerce, but occupations of common right are exempt from tax.
Is this the Tea Party where the Daily Kos caught Fox News with a unfortunate open-mic discussion between Neil Cavuto and his producers about what kind of lie to tell their viewers about the turnout.
A very small number of taxpayers -- the 10% of the country that makes more than $92,400 a year -- pay 72.4% of the nation's total income taxes.
In 2001, 43 million Americans, who earn less than $30,500, made 13.5% of the nation's income but paid no income tax. Instead, they received checks from their taxpaying neighbors worth $16.3 billion. By 2005, those checks totaled $33.3 billion.
WAIT A MINUTE...DID I HEAR THAT RIGHT? AT 2:58 did he say the least of his problem would be "A ROCK" as in ROCK of CRACK? I knew he was hitting the crack pipe again.
The First crackpipe President is high on crack on this inteview.
For the first time in my Adult Life I am Really Ashamed of my government.
Don't forget to send a tea bag to your elected officials on a weekly basis. Keep them remembering you're there and you'll vote them out unless they don't start REPRESENTING YOU!!
