You need to re watch the video. I think you are confused. As to me being a Rookie. 7yrs on the road is well past Rookie status, And I have driven in every state East of the Rockies, except for N,S Dakota, Nebraska, and Minnesota. No where is this illegal or improper anywhere I have been. Unless the road is specifically marked as trucks in right lane only. There are places like that on I-40 East of Knoxville in the mountains but that rarely anywhere else.

They weren't racing. My dad drives those for a living, he says they are programmed to not go above 60mph. So no matter what, it is impossible to speed. Also they check mileage after every drive.

There's a third lane, and you are following too close. Knight should slow down because fedex is passing dangerously. Knight fail. Fedex (typical driving) fail. 4 Wheeler fail. Cars in left lane are probably speeding. You should have passed Fedex merged back into the right lane, and helped knight slow down. He probably would have tailgated you and at the last second, jumped behind fedex and tailgated him until he cleared you (barely) and then got back into right lane.
I fucking hate when drivers decide they need to pass when their only going like a half mile an hour faster than the other truck. If your gonna pass just do it then re set your cruise control after your around Or just dont pass.

Trucks generally have to use the 2 left lanes. so get over it.

They weren't racing. My dad drives those for a living, he says they are programmed to not go above 60mph. So no matter what, it is impossible to speed. Also they check mileage after every drive.

There's a third lane, and you are following too close. Knight should slow down because fedex is passing dangerously. Knight fail. Fedex (typical driving) fail. 4 Wheeler fail. Cars in left lane are probably speeding. You should have passed Fedex merged back into the right lane, and helped knight slow down. He probably would have tailgated you and at the last second, jumped behind fedex and tailgated him until he cleared you (barely) and then got back into right lane.

@212000cowboy Most truck are governed at 65 -67 mph. We typically will pass based on the terrain ahead and how heavy the trucks are. we can judge this from a prior hill possibly 20 miles back before you got on
