  • Beautiful work Ladessa, please keep it up my talented & gifted sista!

  • I would like to use this in a video I'm putting together - with credit to you and a link. Would that be okay?

  • @halag send me a message to my inbox, telling me what your video is about.

  • @CandyAcidReign Okay thanks for that. I ended up using other footage for that particular video instead but I am still thinking of using this for another project. You have really made something special here, both the painting and the footage of you painting it. If I think I'd like to use it again I'll send you a message about it :) Thanks again.

  • ur good cousin... I like the vid too...

  • This is beautiful. You are a great artist. <3

  • @Courthar Thank you so much... never really thought I would ever hear that. luckily i don't do it because i'm good... i do it because I love it, but compliments like that make me feel warm.

  • Very beautiful artwork, these videos awaken me. I don't think I'll look at art the same way again. Thanks.

  • Thank you! Sorry so late. Kept getting comment errors on this vid.

  • OMG! ure AWESOME, girl!!!!!

  • *Giddy* lol! Thank you so much! *sigh* If I was a lesser being, I'd let that go to my head! I humbly accept the love! I hope to get better, and I hope you stay in touch and follow that growth. Happy New Year!

  • I like your work and I have a similar style and I hope to have some on my channel soon. Great work!! 5*****! God bless you!!!

  • similar... oh I would love to see your work! Thank you for the watch, comment, and rating. Glad you found me, and I hope to see some of your visual work, even if by emailing me a photo of it.

  • OH MY GOODNESS! I am utterly speechless. It is one thing to see your final product...it is a completely different experience to watch your creativity and genius unfold! It was so much more meaningful and poignant to me when I watched the process. Asante sana for that sis!

  • Awe, Thank you sis for checking it out. Yeah, I think when people see that I don't pre-sketch my paintings they get a better sense of what exactly I do. Sharing the process has been a very fulfilling thing for me. I enjoy putting together the video creatively to assist in the mood of each piece. This is all new for me and I hope to grow into it further. I'm self taught in everything, even in the vid production. I find "hands on" to be the easiest way to learn.

  • Your video came up on the side when I was viewing my own channel. I LOVE THIS!

  • Cool! I'm glad you clicked on it! lol. How often do we actually check out our related videos?! That's awesome. Thank you. Hope you check out more of my work, now that you found me. Happy New Year.

  • Excellent to see "art in motion" ... another great painting & l♥ve the colors.

  • SoulByDzyne... love your username. This is my first painting using these colors in such a way. I was pleased with how it came together. I'm really glad you like this piece.

  • It sure was an amazing first effort on using those colors, wow. Those blends are wonderful, as well as the emotional capture.

  • that is gorgeous.

  • mm, gorgeous... ahh, thank you "soundlyawake". I'm glad this piece came together enough to warrant such a comment. A blessing really. I didn't know I could paint like this. lol.

  • VERY VERY NICE!

  • nupedaphied. Thank you. Hope to see ya around these parts often.

  • You are so talented! VERY NICE WORK!

  • TaNeal! Thank you so much, even though I can't really take credit for any of my talents, but I can take credit in nurturing them. I feel we are all talented... we just have to nurture our gifts.

  • nice!

  • Thanks, clow2ground. Keep in touch.

  • loveeeeeeeeeee it *****

  • Thank you so much.

  • I see you dabbling with the film making sis!

    I see you.

    Love the painting.

It was lovely seeing it come together.

  • Thank you bon, yeah I'm new to the film making thing. lol... but I caught on fast. Hope to get better with it.

  • Finally! If its worth anything at this point.... I'm blown away by the emotions you're capable of taking us through. Your gift is undeniable. Your technique is far more interesting to watch than mine. Really, I mean this. If I recorded myself it wouldnt get close to the journey you take us. I felt it. .....even if I haven't been love shattered.

  • Goya, never too late. Regardless of your process, there is always editing that could help! lol. As for me, this was done in one sitting, just like the other paintings with video... but if it wasn't, you could always edit. That's something to think about. I'd love to see you doing the same. You're a great artist.

  • I'm struck, again. This one hits close to home. I did a pastel and charcoal drawing years ago, on a piece of cardboard. I called it "Beware of the mental vise"! You just caused me some serious flashbacks. A call to clear vision is evident to me in this one here. Keep it up!

  • I'd LOVE to see that piece of yours.

  • Very awesome painting. Loved the video fx too!

    Take Care!!!

  • Great! Thanx teresa.

  • Cool to see art being made.

  • Thank you, stay tuned... I plan to keep sharing the process.

  • Amazing, I could never do this, It's facinating how you see this in your mind and then instantly transfer it to paper.

  • unlimiteddj, ain't it though!!! I feel the same way when I watch these vids. When I'm in that trance, just painting, or writing, I haven't a clue as to what's really taking place. I'm very mindless about it, so it's very NEW to me when I play it back.

  • This is what you call talent. You are truly amazing keep up the excellent work and take care

  • Blessings to you, tajmabruno! Thank you so much. Sorry I'm so late. I feel pulled to say that it's important for all of us to know our purpose and fall in love with that purpose... it guides you and drives you. I ain't goin' nowhere! I wish you well in 2009 and beyond. Keep in touch.

  • Blessing to you too and I agree with your statements on purpose. May this year and the ones to come be filled with prosperity. Take care

  • Wow this was amazing! I absolutely love the end. It made me feel shattered. It gave it its intensity. The painting itself was awesome to watch come together. She is ME. lol I was feeling sum inner reflection going on the whole time. The dark eyes of result from entering a loveless mind state. And the gash in her eye...its just banana's! Sis this piece and post was so freakin amazing! Your so talented. I love the fact that you fixed the tear drop like 5x at one point. it was awesome!

  • That teardrop wasn't cooperating. lol. Love you sis, and this insightful comment.

  • wow this is great!!!!

  • Thank you Eric. Hope to see you around more often. Happy New Year.

  • Love Shattered indeed! OMG this hit home! I've already watched it 5 times! "She loses her breath, Then loses control, As waves of indescribable emotion wash over her. Tears fall uncontrollably with no real destination, gravity pulls salt flavored rain drops downward toward a rose in her hand"

    Neda

  • Beautiful sis. Love your poetic words. If you're still interested, I have prints for sale. Miss you. Just been very busy. Been a time of meditation and transition for me.

  • u is creative as hell I love it

  • Thanks... Hope you still think so, and still...

  • Wow, I'm left speechless! I have to watch it a few more times for completion

  • Hope you watched it. Hit me up when you get back in the country.

  • A lovely piece and it's always interesting to see how another artist works.

  • isn't it? Thank you. Keep in touch, subscribe, befriend if you haven't already, and share your work with me.

  • Love this one here. More so well for me I can relate to it atleast from what I see in that painting. But thats a different story. Very nice painting and anyone that knows anything about love should be a fan of this one. Plus I am a fan of how well you paint the eyes on just about every sketch or painting you do.

  • Dnygmatic, indeed... Thank you for always being so supportive. I appreciate you.

  • I pluck my left eye out to stay the lies while my right eye cries....

I cut off my right hand to stay the cries while creative spirit rises... as

"Love Shattered"... brings me back together...

    Ty...

  • Thank you for blessing me with your poetic words, Ty.
