Well they said the Blacked out which i highly doubt, there supposed withstain like 10G's and they have had years on active duty in iraq etc, i got told by a Blue Angel that his Stick got stuck and he manage to get it away from the audience and other people and he wanted to try to save they jet a land it.

Either way his a legend and he will never be forgoting and be remembered as one of the best pilots they world has RIP kojak!!!

I have grown up living on military bases and have seen the Thunderbirds and watch the Blue Angels and have always been amazed at their flying. I still have not changed my views many years later. I was very sad when I heard the news of Lt. Commander Davis died doing what he did best, or should I say one of the things he did best because he was a wonderful human being. Rest in peace Blue Angel. My heart goes out to his family.

I am in tears, I unforunatly never got to meet him, but I`ve loved the Blue Angels scince I was 6 or 7. When I heard the news, I started crying and couldn`t stop, I felt the same way as when a really good friend of mine died a few weeks earlier than him. I know she loved the Blue`s as well, I hope she`s gotten a chance to meet him by now.

An awesome tribute to Lcdr Davis!My husband is a former Marine and used to be stationed in Beaufort.We were there for the airshow when Lcdr Davis went down. We are heartbroken for his family and the Beaufort community. God bless them all. I would like to know where you found the picture of the Blue Angels flying in front of the flag with #6 out front. I have tried to find a t-shirt or picture paying tribute to Lcdr Davis and can't find any.

Great Job! My family had the honor of getting to know Kevin. He was so great to us. He always remember my 3 sons by name and made them smile and laugh. Good at giving them hugs also. We will miss you! But you are always and will be a BIG part of our hearts and our family. God Bless you Kevin!

I will be at the Blues first Airshow after the crash of Kevin Davis on May 12 at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. I hope they do something different since they have lost a pilot.

I was in Beaufort SC that day and watched Lt Davis take his final flight. I witnessed his plane disappear behind the trees.......I still get chills thinking about that and how the other Angel pilots handled the tragic situation. Thank you for compiling this awesome tribute to Lt Davis and the Blue Angels, they are truly heros to me.
