  • I'm not going to be a self righteous "purist" and say this thing sucks, because it doesn't. This guitar is excellent for bar bands. I've seen bands play in small bars and the guitarist brings 3 or 4 guitars for 2 hours worth of music, or he/she brings 1 and spends a half hour of that 2 hours tuning between different songs. This thing eliminates a lot of the tuning time, and almost eliminates the need for multiple guitars, almost. The more time spent playing=a happier audience=good publicity.

  • You couldn't give me that thing. If it didn't exist in 1952, it's not going on my guitar.

  • Does anyone know if the sound quality is affected?

  • @nerdflanders8710 Why should it be?

  • is this real?

  • an automatic intonator would actually be a lot more usefull than a tuner... but pretty cool anyway

  • What's next? Guitar plays itself?

  • Dear Santa,...

  • Is this fcking real?

  • OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:(

  • But can it tune to e flat?

  • Does fender or any other make produce 'self tuning' guitars?? i personally favour gibsons i think they have a really warm sound but im just curious?

  • Who needs an self-tuning guitar? That's what roadies are for.

  • I almost cried after watching this :...)...

  • lol i tune my guitar faster by ear hahah .. but still pretty cool then can do this

  • well by ear all i can do is standard and drop d lol

but yeah this worth every penny

  • If you're doing a show this is a great way to retune quickly, otherwise quit bein lazy and learn to tune and save your cash.

  • hahahaha!

see it's funny because they release a new version of this guitar every year that is a few thousand dollars!

  • OMG!

  • jesus..this is cool but at the same time sad. learn to tune by ear first, kids, you'll be glad you did

  • I came when I saw the tuners moving automaticly.

  • you don't need any of this if you can tune by ear..

    haha suckers

  • @MeecrobOdell - Really?

  • @TheGoodbytes Just trying to make the point that it's a bit exessive as far as tuning devices go, of course I'm not a master tuner, but I'm at very least capable of tuning a guitar manually without a robot doing it for me X) It all just comes down to whether or not you need something that can do a minute's work in a second. Personally, I don't find it necessary, but I can also see how it's easily any guitar player's dream! :P

  • @MeecrobOdell i can also tune a guitar manually, however i could not tune it by ear to the temepred scale so it's not actually just lazyness when musicians use a tuner, sometimes it's because you want open chords to sound in tune better

  • @TheGoodbytes yup

  • @TheGoodbytes yeah, really. But that's cool!

  • @MeecrobOdell dude, either you are jealous because you cant afford this guitar or you think you're to good for this meganism, i even don't know why you call us suckers, but i really want to know, if you can tune your guitar in a drop c/b/a or even lower with only using your ears. Good luck!

  • @xissor1 i can its really really easy

  • @xissor1 herp derp uses tuxguitar to tune guitar herp derp.....on another note if you cant tune by ear you're either a beginner or extremely retarded

  • @MeecrobOdell you dumb. this was made for convenience.

  • @MeecrobOdell you cannot tune accurately by ear for drop C, B, or half step down.. human ears cannot capture accurate hertz of a string.. do you know to adjust E string to 44kHz just by your ears?? (without any reference)

  • @kirkhassan I can get pretty close, and I'm just some kid. No perfect pitch, just patience... Sure, it might be off by a few cents, but it's close enough that most people can't tell the difference and, if need be, I'll grab a tuner...

  • @kirkhassan actually a good way to get quite close is to replay a song in your head. Chevelle plays in Drop B, and when i restring my guitar, i just replay a song, and i can get within ten cents. I don't have perfect pitch by any means, but it is possible. You can just tell when it sounds right i guess.

  • @MeecrobOdell

    Meh, too lazy.

  • @MeecrobOdell You obviously don't know how to tune a guitar or what intonation is. That said, this is a shit product.

  • @psychonavigator fuck you asshole, go back to your cave and beat your sticks and stones bitch.

  • @nerdflanders8710 u mad brah? Don't be mad brah, it's cool brah. Just chillax, brah.

I'm sorry that you don't know how to tune your own guitar.

  • @psychonavigator Michael? It's more than just tuning..it's useful.

  • @MeecrobOdell Like a caveman

  • @nerdflanders8710 Yes... just like a caveman... me like play gahtar ooga ooga

  • That is kickass....too bad it's on a Gibson.

  • now i want it

  • FUCK!!!! OH MY G O D that is AMAZING!!!!!

  • now that's some bad ass shit right there

  • PUTAQUIPARIL!

  • holy sh..

  • Any guitar player's dream! haha

  • @Lugaid Well, not mine.

  • @Lugaid no need
