  • @trivial131 I think the laws are not really enforced. I even found a website advertising a shop in Russia that sells slow lorises.

  • i think the only thing that scares me is that they have similar hands to us... and i don't like my hands but they are super cute !!!! my mate has one and it had babies :D x

  • Why Russia? Why do you do this?

  • how much is a slow loris?

  • did I just hear the N-bomb dropped in the song?!?! 1:32???

  • @ianh97 crickets aren't endangered and are not high on the list of desired pets.. and therefor don't have teeth ripped out, are not smuggled illegally ...etc etc etc etc ;-)

  • No one cares about the crickets! :(

  • @SilvaStrikeDesu and people are making videos. Search here on YouTube for 'BBC Natural World, Jungle Gremlins of Java.' Search for 'Slow Loris Jungle Poet'. Many people have specifically said they went to see the BBC documentary because of comments to these videos, and have thanked me and others for posting this information. What are you doing to help save the slow loris?

  • @SilvaStrikeDesu we know quite a bit about these particular lorises. They were bought from a pet store in Russia, they are owned by a couple in St. Petersburg in Russia. We don't know if their lorises are still alive, however - no news for nearly 2 years. While it is legal to own a loris in Russia- if a CITES permit is held (highly unlikely) - not one slow loris has ever been imported legally into the country for purposes as a pet. The biggest threat to slow lorises in the wild are humans.

  • I think that if people REALLY want to help make a point about the Slow Loris being endangered, that it would be better off getting their OWN videos and source material to post on youtube instead of posting it on here. For all you know, this person could have a license to own these Slow Loris for HELPING the species. Or consider the fact that they could have been confiscated from cruel owners and given to a proper handler since they would not be able to live in the wild from abuse.

  • @jazzyjaychantal have you studied any information re the slow loris? If you have you will know that videos like these directly contribute to misinformation about it being 'pet material'. It's not about this particular loris, it's about the species. The species is endangered, & the pet trade - popular in Russia & Japan - is directly responsible. Slow Lorises don't do well in captivity, even in the best zoos. If you can't be bothered to watch the whole documentary, fast forward to about 45 mins.

  • Wow it's pretty amazing how a person can watch one video like the documentary on BBC and think they are experts and therefore have the right to judge people. Who the fuck cares in how they have a freaking loris it's not like they are hurting the thing. It's obviously being well taken care of by these people. Get off their videos with your negativeness and unnecessary opinions about what they might be doing with their loris or how they got it.

  • @gtikounaify it's only legal if they have the CITES permit to have legally imported the animal into the country for the purposes as a pet and for breeding as a pet...otherwise it is illegal...so if a pet shop smuggles one in, even if the country allows keeping primates as pets (e.g. UK, Russia allows keeping primates), without CITES import, it is illegal. AND: no Slow Loris has ever been imported into Russia legally for keeping as a pet. Check the CITES website.

  • Anyone who wishes to help the slow loris from being poached: google "save the slow loris", choose article of the internatonial animal rescue and use the link for the petition.

  • Keeping these endangered animals as pets is illegal everywhere. Do you realize you are engaged in criminal activity and posting it for all the world to see? Even if you don't care about the fact that you are fueling the extinction of your beloved slow loris, you might not want to leave so much evidence of your criminal activity posted online. Might cause a legal issue down the road.

  • @seaserpent40

Actually, in one video he says that he's from Russia, and it's perfectly legal there.

  • If you want to help this animal, go to: n o c t u r a m a dot org.

  • @LulzFaceX well the documentary is about to be aired worldwide. The UK screening has brought a huge amount of notice, signatures for the appeal to the Indonesian government, donations, etc. It was the documentary that got me involved, and I now do about 1-2 hours a day volunteer work for them, and I'm not the only one. There is hope, if we all do our bit, and better to try than not, surely. If you have a better solution, contact Dr. Anna Nekaris, I'm sure she'd be interested to hear.

  • I watched the video. The thing is... This save the loris campaign is simply not effective enough. Their numbers are still in decline and all too often (as we all know) infamy often brings fame. That being said i strongly feel there is a better solution that doesn't count on people doing the right thing.. Cause LOL when does that ever actually happen? We have to count on people being selfish and uneducated. Just my thoughts.

  • @LulzFaceX Watch here on YouTube Natural World: Jungle Gremlins of Java and you'll understand why this animal is endangered because of the pet trade.

  • I mean, specifically, what keeps humans from BREEDING the ones we already have? If they're such a popular pet ..

  • @LulzFaceX because even the best zoos with the best breeding programs can barely breed them. It's a non-domesticable animal; it can only be tamed (which means needs to be captured in the wild)

  • So if there were no more wild cats cats woul go extinct suddenly? Ha i think its wayyyyyy more likely they would disappear if we idn't keep em as pets. Either way might as well face it, what's done is done.

  • Please take this video down. If you care about these poor animals, watch this documentary: bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b01bcp7z/hd/Natural_World_20112012_Jungle_Gremlins_of_Java/

NO WORD OF A LIE - THERE WON'T BE ANY LEFT TO ADMIRE SOON.

  • if you think these animals are cute and are trying to fing where to obtain one watch this documentary and see how sickening the trade in these poor creatures really is!

    bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b01bcp7z/hd/Natural_World_20112012_Jungle_Gremlins_of_Java/

  • These animals become docile when feeling threatened. The videos are entirely misleading. If one is bought as a pet, another one is removed from the wild to be sold in the illegal pet trade: their teeth pulled out with scissors or pliers without anesthetic. Babies removed from mothers so young they die. Put in cages that tear their hands & feet. Watch here on YouTube Natural World: Jungle Gremlins of Java. They often die in captivity. no word about Sonya for 2 years. Is she alive?

  • To the people who think this is "cruelty": if they were hurting them, they wouldn't be acting happy and spoiled. Yeah I get that they are endangered but if they were in the wild, there wouldn't be any slow loris left.

  • @cheesesisgood87 what you see as acting happy and spoiled is only a projection. When loris feel stressed or threatened and cannot get away they take a passive posture, which we interprete as cute and as if its enjoyig itself.

  • @jillssr how would you know that? are you a slow loris?

  • @jillssr because the expert biologist on these animals studied them, including their behaviour.

  • Unfortunately, regardless of where Sonya came from, or the legality of keeping a primate as a pet in Russia, no slow loris has ever been imported into Russia legally for keeping as a pet. Please read the page on slow lorises on Wikipedia. If you love these animals educate yourself before thinking of having one as & watch the YouTube BBC documentary, Jungle Gremlins of Java. The pet trade of these animals is causing their extinction and extreme suffering along the way.

  • oh and I hope you don't play this song to the loris..poor lori ears.

  • Great. Drinya is just another victim of those cruelty humans. I bet he's very happy about to live in a cage.. N.O.T!

  • Please google "Jungle Gremlins of Java" if you think you want one of these as a pet. The animals are illegally caught in Indonesia and other countries for the pet trade. They are treated inhumanely - teeth ripped out, kept in airless boxes which are thrown about as if they are nothing more than stones, & then sold as 'pets' because they are cute. Some 'exotic' animals don't have to have their teeth ripped out to be sold as pets, these do. The extractions cause infections and sometimes death.

  • give them bug already since the begging their eyes were on it. awww, they want a snack i love how they eat i want to see u feed them :D

  • Cant you just have a domestic pet in your cage like a hamster or gerbil?

  • To quote Dr Anna Nekaris a scientist who has been studying slow lorises for years, "Even the best breeding facilities have great difficulty breeding lorises, and those that do often have difficulty keeping them alive. It is so easy to get access to wild-caught lorises, it is highly doubtful that a seller who claims to have captive-bred ones is telling the truth." So even if this loris was bred in captivity you can garantee that it's parents were not

  • @Karma123456789100 If you think they are so cute then why do you support of them fucking dying? Pretty soon there aren't going to be any of these animals left. I'm sorry that anyone slightly intelligent had to read your shitty comment.

  • @ArmedPoverty

Concure... @Karma123456789100 You are a dumb fuck.

  • These animals are not people. Please don't encourage the trade in endangered species - even if you are a caring and responsible person to these creatures, many hundreds have died as a result of you posting these videos. Please take them down.

  • This is disgusting. Prime example of some peoples lack of respect for nature

  • The slow loris is a critically endangered primate and should not be kept as a pet. You are promoting the illegal pet trade in endangered species, I suggest you watch the BBC Natural world documentary, Jungle Gremlins.

  • Fucking hell..you have 2!!

OMG man you seriously need to get these videos down from the net..you are encouraging the destruction of a species!!

  • @illustratorhalt straight to the point.. wish people used their brains more..

  • @illustratorhalt Hear hear. Just watched the documentary on BBC. I'm totally shocked about the plight of this poor creature, which undergoes such extreme cruelty at the hands of poachers and traders. It's on the verge of extinction, fuelled by people posting these "cute" videos. I'm posting comments on as many loris videos as I can.

  • @mogul10001 this is the same people who that same documentary pointed out was potentially dangerous because they exploit these animals. While I agree their adoring. I don't condone any exotic wild animals as pets especially ones on the endangered list.

  • i hope people realise one of the main reasons for there endangerment is the fact they WONT MATE even in the wild but if these two mate then they will have accomplished more than any zoo, protection aganecy or nature has accomplished these things have never flourished because of this

  • Comment removed

  • People talking about they are endangered dont you guys see a male a female right infront of you they are probably gonna make babies

  • @bb756016 not even the best breeding zoos manage to make this species breed in captivity.

  • sonya's fucking cute .

  • Just the way they stare at the bugs is so cute and funny.

  • @illmindset

It is legal in Russia in case you forgot to research it before posting. Secondly, the owners seem very capable and responsible of Sonya. She is blessed with generous people and even has a boyfriend to keep her company. Dwelling on the morale is pointless. These endangered animals have bigger threats in the wild than in animal trading. Asking to put these domesticated animals back into the wild is asking to shoot it yourself; they are no longer able to survive.

  • @sesshomaru1414 they don't shoot them; just catch them, pull/clip their teeth out and export them to Russia and Japan as people in both have little regard for anything that may be more vulnerable than themselves and tend to want to please themselves often no matter if it causes any pain or suffering elsewhere.

  • @sesshomaru1414 but they do NOT live in Russia, and they can only be gotten through ILLEGAL importing and poaching. They actually do NOT have bigger threats in the wild at all. They are the sole poisonous mammal, and even bears will turn away from their smell. The biggest threat to their existence are humans, more specifically: animal traders for selfish people who want a cute looking pet that isn't supposed to be a pet at all

  • A pet loris is a bad idea. They are a wild animal, illegal to own, and despite their cute appearance they have several characteristics which make them a terrible choice for a pet.

    And they cost around $20,000!!!!

  • THOSE BUGS IN THAT JAR ARE CUTE

  • These videos have THE WORST music. Makes me cringe to hear either voice.

  • i think drinya coould pass as a dog

  • do you have an exotic pet license? these poor cuties are endangered!

  • At first when they showed Drinya I thought i was a doggie ^_^

  • loved the song

  • Comment removed

  • They're both adorable!!! ^_^ Sonya the pigmy Slow Loris and Drinya the Slender Loris. Too adorable!!!!!! ^_^

  • I like Sonya drinya not so much

  • 2:07

    Sonya: GET ME SOME CRICKETS

Drinya: one sec... *keeps trying to touch container/ open*

Sonya: IF I DONT GET FOOD NOW IM GOING TO DIE

Drinya: Don't worry babe, Ill get them *PUNCHES*

  • lol her boyfriend is so studly~

  • 2:30 -le push-

  • lol they remind me of those things from the "bone" comic books

  • so, you have a female & male slow loris. are you planning to breed them?

  • OMG DERE SO CUTE

  • The boys are scary as fuck.

  • He seems shy. They are so cute!

Wow,, but that song is annoying lol

  • He seems shy. They are so cute!

  • That's very nice, but… they need to be in the wild

  • stop it guys they obviously like there home

  • omg.omg.omg.omg.they took my heart away.

you did have 'the talk' with them though, right? just saying.

  • They look sick and miserable. See their grungy fur? No surprise really. The're being forced out in the daylight, forced to live in conditions they were never meant to be in. Do us a favor and stop your animal cuelty soap opera.

  • Comment removed

  • @deceptant Grungy fur? looks perfectly fine to me, you know, hamsters are also nocturnal and yet we keep them as pets and bring them out in the day, they are under no threat so they change their sleeping patterns so they can be looked after. In captivity they are safe, we can breed them and help them rather than them being killed when their homes are cut down. they look happy to me, and healthy, well fed, they can breed and they are safer then they would be in the wild. leave them to it.

  • put video while they bang each other.

  • retarded song , cute vid

  • this music fits so well i dont know why

  • Me gusta

  • when it raises its hands it means he wants to be tickled

  • im getting 4 slow lorises

  • i don't like her boyfriend! :S

  • 2:33 Watch Sonya, I strong like Russian Bear

  • Their faces are so precious and pittyful

  • But guys Drinya is very very cute too! :D

  • Sonya is too cute for Drinya <3

  • 2X the cuteness :D

  • Hi cute Sonya, I love you..Everything OK???...Greetings!

  • ajhahahjahjhjaahjahj I laughed so hard with that falcon punch

  • they are ultra cute. but the song is ultra annoying

  • Well there is one thing. You are so kind to give both these creatures a home, and it is all too obvious that you love them and care so much for them, You give them food and shelter and love, what more do they need ? people say it is cruel to take them away from their natural habitat, but they are an edangered creature, and it is all too obvious that they are safe with loving owners such as you.

  • @scorpio7ish but they will not breed in captivity only in the wild. as far as i know we no longer use solitery confinment as a punishment because of the phycological damage it causes so why would you think its ok for thesea animals?

  • @scorpio7ish if you did your homework you would know that they do not breed in captivity thats why they are poached from the wild. they have there teeth pulled out to make them 'safe' no one is saying this loris is abused we are saying the trade as a whole is cruel and threatening the existance of the loris. BTW would you like to spend your entire like in a small wire box??? I think not

  • Did they ever get their cricket lunch?

  • they arent suppose to be house pets :C

  • Soo cute, He can see her staring at the food and he wants to impress but they're locked up lol! bless him! :)

  • adorable.. i wish there were more in the wild. but the reason why most are in captivity is because they barely have any of their habitat left. stupid humans have to have EVERYTHING. we are so damn greedy. we will kill millions of other creatures just for our own selfish needs. i wish these poor little creatures, and many more could live in peace. <3

  • @backtodecemberx31 dude, quite posting depressing shit on cute videos

  • I saw one of your videos, I thought it was adorable and I had no idea what this creature was, I wanted one for its cuteness. Then I saw your next video and saw it on a hard floor looking very timid, then your 3rd where you teased it with food.. I also read all the comments on how its an endangered species and will die out due to people wanting them for their own entertainment. In this video you have another and tease them both with food, THIS IS ALL CRUEL Think about what you're doing :(

  • What song is that, its just to happy for true existance !! if yeah know what im saying :P

  • where do you find your music? XD

  • To all of the people that are saying they don't breed in captivity, do some damn research before you make yourself sound stupid. They DO breed in captivity. If they didn't, the sale of them would be impossible due to the fact of how hard they are to find in the wild. Also, there wouldn't be Slow Loris nursery's if they didn't breed in captivity.

  • @FloridaSucks329 check out the video Youtube-search-slow loris animal abuse) they rarely breed in captivity

  • @FloridaSucks329 Do some research yourself. They can breed in captivity, but it is so damn rare. They refuse to mate, so also artifical insemination is used, but it often ends up with miscariages. Its always a huge success for every zoo, when new loris is born. Almost 90% of female lorises living in captivity failed to produce a single living offspring. They dont have problems to reproduce in wild. Yes, most of lorises in the shops were captured in wild. Get your facts straight.

  • I think this video is so adorable!!:D

A lot of people need to shut the front door and enjoy the cuteness!

  • whoever agrees with this pet trade is stupid and ignorant.

these animals will be hunted until there are none left in the wild. As they don't breed in captivity, once the "pet" loris's die out these animals will be extinct its as simple as that its just fact.

If you honestly believe these animals are not being harmed please watch the video on here, (youtube-search-slow loris abuse) you are not saving them you are wiping them out and exposing them to horrific abuse.

    thanks for listening x

  • Sonya is FATTER :)

  • Guys, calm down. Just because she owns one doesn't mean every single damn slow loris is going to die out.

  • so, question to everyone else: if they do breed, then what? throw the new ones back out in the wild they ahve never been to?

  • @ChronoTriggerHappy i dont think they breed in captivaty she probably wants to sell the babies for money thats wat this trade is all about making money

  • "Also we have installed a night-view camera (it uses infrared light) in the cage to watch at their night life." you shoot animal porn?

  • you should be arestted, these animals are endangered and now you have removed

TWO from there natural habbitat!!! you are criminals and u are posting your criminal behaviour for the world to see.

  • @deltapeco shut the fuck up u cock sucking bitch! there not killing them there giving them a home with free food free home and free medical care

  • @MegaRazaraza what about when there are no more left in the wild to poach? they dont bread in captivity what happens when the domesticated ones die out? i dont mean to preach but have your read up about this subject or just looked at this vid and made a snap judgement? check out DAILY MAIL web page search KILLER CUTENESS will give you the true side or search slow loris abuse will show you the poachers pulling the teeth out enjoy

  • @MegaRazaraza theres no need to be vile and abusive by the way search slow loris abuse and tell me ripping out there teeth isnt cruel most that are captured die from infection blood loss or long haul flights get your facts straight before you judge

  • @deltapeco they come from farms, not the wild

  • @ChronoTriggerHappy no they dont cos they dont breed in captivity

  • Did you really buy these pets? For real? They are ILLEGAL, ENDANGERED, they were CAPTURED & TORTURED to make them pet like. You support this by buying it, criminals!!

  • i want their babys *o*

  • 2:30 lol

  • ILEGAL ILEGAL ILEGAL ILEGAL ILEGAL ILEGAL ILEGAL....YOU MUST GO TO PRISON NOW

  • @vanessbio Only in stupid country like USA. In Russia, it's legal.

  • @vanessbio Prison? Seriously?

  • yeah i agree sonya is cuter<33 hahha omgosh those eyes(: how can i get a slow loris?

  • I am so tired of seeing these animals being paraded as pets. They are endangered in the wild due to the pet trade. We should be campaigning for their natural habitat to be restored and for the evil traders to be prosecuted. People who buy these should also be prosecuted. The trade in these should be illegal.

'The only reason the loris isn't biting the person holding it in the video is because it has had its teeth ripped out with pliers,' said Chris Shepherd. Independent

  • @Judipops13 It's not just the pet trade, get the facts straight before you start spouting your self-righteous bull-shit.

  • @Principleofevile how is it self righteous - I am just trying to help the slow loris stay alive in the wild? I never stated the pet trade is the ONLY cause - I am a conservationist so I know that hunting for medicinal purposes and loss of habitat contribute too. Stop being so rude and allow people to state their opnions - its a free world and I have valid reason for complaining about these videos - they increase popularity for these animals as domestic pets - that's a fact sadly.

  • @SamanthaNox13 It becomes self righteous and flat out annoying when you have multiple accounts for the purpose of bashing videos on freakin jewtube.

But hey, sure. It's a free world. They are FREE to keep these pets and I am FREE to call your opinion self righteous. Freedom is a peach isn't it?

  • @Principleofevile errrrmm!!! what? thats the problem people think they can do what they like. dont have a go at us for trying to raise awareness and giving them a voice they are completely defenceless especially now youve taken its teeth and claws away we are just sticking up for these animals its not ok abuse animals if you honestly believe they arnt been abused watch the video on here (youtube-search-slow loris animal abuse) and open your eyes to whats really going on

  • Slow lorries

  • what kind of animal is that???
