This is most amazing. Though not precisely like the original, the writer of this new material does get it. I can see the arguments to keep some of the "action" in the story. But, the not so subtle reference to "bigger" products was hilarious. A little something for the parents buried in there? Like the old Rocky and Bullwinkle which was written on two levels as well. Spraying his tail first has a lot of unspoken innuendo buried in it. Is my tail big enough? Hmmmmm...

I know 2D is practically dead these days but still, for some, we wish there were still more 2D things.

Personally, I find nothing wrong with this. Sure, I will miss the 2-d, but come on! This is a new angle at an old favorite; If it were still 2-d, nothing will have changed. Since you can't really change the premise of Road Runner vs. W. E. Coyote, change the animation!

And the show itself is good. I'd stop complaining and simply enjoy the cartoon if I were you. It's not as if it's terrible, it's actually pretty funny. Give it a chance.

Why do people give so much of a shit that the Road Runner and Coyote segment is done in CG? It's not like it's done poorly... and it's not like the whole show's like that... and it's not like everything's wrong... and if you want the classics, go watch the classics - they're on on Boomerang all the time! This new Loony Tunes show is supposed to be the more modern take, but with the same formula for the comedy. Get over the small stuff and see the show for what it is - a fun revamp.

I don't get why everyone's whining about the animation. CG wouldn't work for, say, Bugs Bunny or Daffy Duck, but a series that relies entirely on physical comedy can benefit greatly from using CG. With hand-drawn animation (especially those produced for TV), you're limited in certain things you can do, but with CG, the possibilities for animation are essentially endless.

And besides, the cartoon itself is funny, so who gives a crap?
