The motive: money! Guede has already told it. Someone took Meredith's money from her room, and she blamed Amanda, it had happened before, perhaps she was going to call police, and then they stopped her.
What is so sad is that no one is expressing regret for the life that was so brutally taken. I think that Knox is guilty but even if she isn't, she was clearly involved in some way and also told numerous lies after the fact, not to mention cartwheeling in the police station. This is unquestionably a very complicated circumstantial case, but Andrea Vogt has done a pretty good job in synthesizing the facts within a limited time frame.
The only thing she got wrong is the issue of "motive". Motive is not an essential element of a crime. The prosecutor does NOT need to prove motive.

She had no wounds on her body when examined by police at the time of her arrest. The mixed DNA was MK's blood over skin cells in the bathroom they shared.
again, there was a small amount of DNA and that is why the testing is called Low Count Number. The machinery is purposely manufactured to test LCN. It then amplifies the results and they found the match. Also, nobody contested the matching of the DNA: it was Meredith's without doubt. What defense is claiming is contamination (which needs to be proven and it wasn't).

Only at this point we should start looking at all other corroborating evidence, like mixed DNA, footprints and shoeprints of the 3 suspects, huge amount of DNA on bra clasp, DNA on knife (low count of 41 RFU, but nonetheless pretty clearly belonging to Meredith), complete lack of alibi of both Raffaele and Amanda, false accusations, constant lies and changing of versions when new prove was revealed to them that undermined their previous statements.
As to the merit of the case, the most important aspects to consider as the following:
1) it is undisputable that Guede did NOT act alone. The dynamic of the event tell us that at least 2 people were present. This is fully explained in the Micheli Report.
2) it is uncontested that someone returned to the house hours after the murder, staged a break-in, cleaned the house, moved the body, removed her clothes, did laundry, and could not continue the cleaning because police arrived unexpected.
Andrea Vogt is saying something incorrect at 5:0, claiming that Amanda was interrogated by the PROSECUTOR without an attorney. She was previously questioned by POLICE without an attorney (which is normal everywhere) but once she became a suspect the prosecutor stepped in. By law, prosecutors MUST interrogate with an attorney.
Consider that in Italy a suspect cannot even waiver his right to counsel. Even if a suspect does not want an attorney, the authorities are required to appoint one.
Knox is a liar! She told lies after lies and lied again. She is being officially sued by the Italian police for slander after claiming that she was verbally abused and hit during interogation (she was informed of this on the 21/01/2010) which is not true but a stupid and desperate attempt to free herself from the mess she is in. Her parents are being investigated as well for defamation. All the Knoxes are doing is hurting the case even more than it is and that's good since she is guilty as sin!

This is unquestionably a very complicated circumstantial case, but Andrea Vogt has done a pretty good job in synthesizing the facts within a limited time frame.
The only thing she got wrong is the issue of "motive". Motive is not an essential element of a crime. The prosecutor does NOT need to prove motive.
Also, AK has great lawyers. That is the only reason why she's still hanging there.

Even Stefanoni, who tested the DNA evidence, said it was too low grade to make the case. Rude Guede was at the crime scene. Knox & Sollecito do not appear to have been present. Knox shared the bathroom w/Meredith, & her skin cells were in the drain where the killer wash off Meredith's blood. Poor evidence of anything.

2) The DNA on the knife was OBVIOUSLY low !! The test is called LCN for a reason.
3) Stefanoni NEVER said: "DNA it was too low grade to make the case". You just wrote something that it's absolutely not true.
4) The dynamics of the even clearly show that Guede was not alone in that room. Nobody denies that.
5) AK left blood and DNA mixed with MK's blood. That is very unusual, to say the least.

She had no wounds on her body when examined by police at the time of her arrest. The mixed DNA was MK's blood over skin cells in the bathroom they shared.

again, there was a small amount of DNA and that is why the testing is called Low Count Number. The machinery is purposely manufactured to test LCN. It then amplifies the results and they found the match. Also, nobody contested the matching of the DNA: it was Meredith's without doubt. What defense is claiming is contamination (which needs to be proven and it wasn't).
Again, Stefanoni NEVER said: "DNA it was too low grade to make the case".

Only at this point we should start looking at all other corroborating evidence, like mixed DNA, footprints and shoeprints of the 3 suspects, huge amount of DNA on bra clasp, DNA on knife (low count of 41 RFU, but nonetheless pretty clearly belonging to Meredith), complete lack of alibi of both Raffaele and Amanda, false accusations, constant lies and changing of versions when new prove was revealed to them that undermined their previous statements.

As to the merit of the case, the most important aspects to consider as the following:
1) it is undisputable that Guede did NOT act alone. The dynamic of the event tell us that at least 2 people were present. This is fully explained in the Micheli Report.
2) it is uncontested that someone returned to the house hours after the murder, staged a break-in, cleaned the house, moved the body, removed her clothes, did laundry, and could not continue the cleaning because police arrived unexpected.

Andrea Vogt is saying something incorrect at 5:0, claiming that Amanda was interrogated by the PROSECUTOR without an attorney. She was previously questioned by POLICE without an attorney (which is normal everywhere) but once she became a suspect the prosecutor stepped in. By law, prosecutors MUST interrogate with an attorney.
Consider that in Italy a suspect cannot even waiver his right to counsel. Even if a suspect does not want an attorney, the authorities are required to appoint one.

She is being officially sued by the Italian police for slander after claiming that she was verbally abused and hit during interogation (she was informed of this on the 21/01/2010) which is not true but a stupid and desperate attempt to free herself from the mess she is in. Amanda Knox is guilty!
She has no alibi.
She bought bleach at a shop early in the morning (receit foud).
She cleaned the house so well that there was only ONE single fingerprint of hers in the whole place - even though she had lived there for 4 months.
The knife's found in her boyfriend's flat with Meredith's blood in it had been bleached.
She accused an innocent man
She had issues with the victim who had com[lain about her poor hygiene and slutty behavior (bringing weird boys to the house)
