I love this song. It's so happy and positive and upbeat, with a definite Motown feel to it, and you have to give Kanno-san credit for being inspired by the best pop and R&B that America ever had to offer. I also like how Nakajima-san sings it, in her own very distinct style and manner, with enthusiasm and energy and feeling. So what if she's not a technically perfect singer? It could be worse--she could be Auto Tuned to death. I'd rather hear her sing and hear HER voice.

Megumi was Vocaloidified in a sense, GUMI's design is based on Ranka and her name - MEGPOID/GUMI - is taken from Megumi's name. Megumi voiced GUMI as well, so they sound similar. It's a tad confusing, but that's how it works.  xD

@cupcakex2010 not exactly steal it, more like did covers for it. heck even a nico nico user did a cover on this song too, halyosy i believe... or was it halyo... somewhere along those lines, im pretty sure its halyosy though (i think halyo is just halyosy's voice raised). im not surprised since macross frontier (or most of the macross series for that matter [to my knowledge]) has very good songs, giving opportunity for vocaloid to show their capability or somethin like that

Besides the one thing I did not like in MF is in fact Ranka singing Watashi no Kare wa Pairroto... it doesn't sound as nice as Minmay's.
