  • Gyro = fail for WAF

  • @ComicPenius My lady like the Gyro but if not try the New 2.4GHz Mini Wireless Rii Keyboard. I use it and best Home Theatre controller other than touch pads.

  • ugly interface, bad designers I don't get why the designers of this era sux, if you would see my designs for a media center you would wank 24/7

  • @gfetco Agreed about design but the concept of the sytem is all there and thats the bottom line with Full home automation. Digging XBMX AEON interface something like that would be sweet with LinuxMCE.

  • @gfetco Ive said this for years. The people who made LinuxMCE can code good! but they cant design. It looks so primative. When someone offers to help these guys make it look good this software will be amazing

  • thanks for showing me around your house. Was cool to see in your loft and all your setup. I like ur project so far. Good luck in getting it finished

  • What are the specs of the PC running MCE ?

  • @nitroray I guess you must be really dumb to have missed that part of the video.

    Your mum.

  • Hi there,

I'm building a media center currently and I'm trying to decide what would be the best media center for Linux. I've look at most of the media center programs such as Boxee, Elisa, XBMC ect..

How would you compare LinuxMCE to them considering it's an entire destro devoted to media sharing ? Is it very hard to install/configure ?

    Thanks.

  • Looks like a sweet setup, but you might wanna check if the installation of the switch is up to code, I heard you can lose your house insurance for having a regular power cable like that in the ceiling.

  • @Ultimawar: Yeah I was thinking of taking it out of the attic anyways and actually have a network rack with cage in a custom designed room with all switch server and LinuxMCE core. Thanks for the heads up anyways!

  • linux mce is very nice :D

  • Great video Roam!

What is your LinuxMCE WIKI username? I added this page for your video - wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/User:Roam112_video

  • @vach Thanks vach, I went ahead and

added them myself. My WIKI username

is now Roam112. Check it out all

  • @johnedwards1968: Currently dont have a Bluray drive to play Bluray movies but will be trying it out soon. What you currenlty see are .MKV rips.

  • @istudynow Tried 0810 and its come a long ways but still not completley all there for me yet. But looking forward to the finished product!
