Basically, in the south cinema, Rajini & Kamal have the indian cinema taste. But, they have huge differences between them. Rajini - Style, Artificial stunts, Ordinary story & strong messages in punch dialouges. Kamal - Real, Natural, Not so traditional, innovative but not always to give strong messages.
But in North, there is only one actor, who is genuine and does justice to the indian fans (not just the NRIs) and he is, the one and only Aamir Khan. NO ONE ELSE.
i don't think the hosts were that bad. you can't just dismiss them out of hand just coz they speak tamil differently than the indian tamilians do. if i am not mistaken, they seem to be speaking sri lankan tamil (ie tamil spoken in ealam areas). besides, you have to give it to them for using english words rarely and speaking in mostly pure tamil. I have to admit, i can't speak the language w/o borrowing a single word from english. like it or not, most of urban chennai speaks this way!
@gtmashok the hosts are malaysians. actually, in this programme their tamil isnt 'super' bad as u say...but usually it is! especially the girl's. i guess they were extra careful while interviewing great personality like kamalhasan who speaks fluent tamil..i mean really reallly good fluent tamil!!
