  • you mean adjust valve clearance? you just need a feeler gauge to check can buy those from autoshops, to adjust if you can still read the shim number no need for micrometer, default valve clerance should be exhaust = 0.23 ± 0.03 / intake =0.16 ± 0.03

  • @MrDinakdakan yes, but the biggest question is the shim is very expensive in taiwan!

  • @mattttam03062005 does taiwan have underbones? they have the same shimsize sa suzuki fu150 rairder/belang/satria, cost only 3usd

  • @MrDinakdakan there are some underbones in taiwan, not too much.

if the shim is used for hornet 250, i'd like to buy them from japan, that will be more than 3usd!

  • @mattttam03062005 well we've used underbone shims for hornets and cbr600, doesnt matter if you get them from japan or america, shims are all the same, they don't wear down, valves do

  • @MrDinakdakan really!!? maybe i should try this sometime! thanks for your information! a lot!!

  • you have to resync carbs after valve clearance right?

  • @MrDinakdakan yeah but i dont have tools for valve clearance adjust
