If you want a better life for yourself, think on it, surround yourself with images of what you want and let no negative get in your mind. It has taken me some time to begin to understand how to use the principles taught in the secret but I am beginning to see results and feel happier than ever before. @lebchick1000 I gotta say its been working for me so far. My last 2 cell phone bills have been credited. I have no clue how or what happen too why it was credited but I know I would worry about bills all the time. I just stopped worrying about them and this had happen. I been getting overtime at work so the money has been coming in. Right now I'm thinking big were people might say yeah right, but I say why not? I don't have a negative thought about what I want. I prefer to focus on peace and happiness; things that can get you what you need and what everyone deserves, not money and material objects. But I suppose you could, but I still don't think money is the purpose for the law of attraction.

I couldn't agree more with you. That is the one thing that I have against the secret, or at least in the way that it is promoted to people. The promotion is mostly about money, and success. It's just too bad that not enough people understand that the money is controlled by wealthy elite who control every aspect of our world. Finance / military / big Pharma / Entertainment / Media... There is an agenda in full swing by secret societies at the top. We worship the money they create, kinda sick.

In someways I believe in the law of attraction but in recent events such as millions of jobs lost, foreclosures, students not being able to afford school, retirement accounts and dreams wiped out...it seems like wishful thinking. @lebchick1000 I gotta say its been working for me so far. My last 2 cell phone bills have been credited. I have no clue how or what happen too why it was credited but I know I would worry about bills all the time. I just stopped worrying about them and this had happen. I been getting overtime at work so the money has been coming in. Right now I'm thinking big were people might say yeah right, but I say why not? I don't have a negative thought about what I want. Ive tried for years to attract more money ever since I saw The Secret and I havent attracted not one dollar. I've read so many books and researched this shit for years And I havent got anywhere. In fact I've been going backwards. But I have attracted TONS of negative shit in my life. I'm so fuckin pissed off at all this shit. I don't know what to do and Im fuckin desperate. @MrZpot1 Ive had years of ups and downs with it my friend. Its got to be about mental calm first and certainty that the ideas etc will flow to you. It sounds like youve got a lot of trouble and it keeps finding its way back in your mind. A mind that cant filter out trouble to an extent cant see the possibilities around him or her. You have to learn to let the worry go or manage it and then try all youve learned. Dont be discouraged, you arent the only one struggling to make this work but it does

I don't believe this but what i do believe is that to change your life around you need to first: think on the bright side of things and after a while that will change the way you feel (behavior) and that will change the way you act which of course affects everything around you. Anyone who actually READS the story of Midas (illustrated in this video as a happy lad touching a statue and it turns to gold) knows that it was a curse, and the moral of that story is that attracting EVERYTHING one wants to you - effortlessly, by the way - is truly a curse.
There are many people who have a lot of "things" who are miserable. In fact, all famous people say that things do NOT bring the happiness they desired.

I'm not sure if the law of attraction is supposed to be used for money. I prefer to focus on peace and happiness; things that can get you what you need and what everyone deserves, not money and material objects. But I suppose you could, but I still don't think money is the purpose for the law of attraction.

well if it works for you and you really believe youre happy then good for you. i personally dont think anything outside of myself is enough to make me happy. i was happy once and all i can say is it didnt involve anything material! but thats just me. theres people that ''have it all'' and end up killing themselves from drug overdoses because theyre still not happy. the secret may work, im not doubting that, but it just attracts more of the illusion!

i disagree with this part of the secret. it not only contradicts it but it also discredits it. it talks about money not being evil when its a well known fact that money and religion are the two main causes of war. this is just some false sense of happiness bullshit that keeps your mind embedded in the system that has been set up to keep you under control. its such a condradiction to say the only way it works is if youre happy NOW, then decide what you want? if youre happy you dont want anything!

Ok, one more! hahaha.. My carpet is really old! For 3 years I have asked them to replace it and paint my walls and new vinyl floors for my kitchen and bathroom! Nothing for 3 years! So 2 weeks ago, I said why not.. I accepted that I would get new everything... hahahaha.. today, the new manager of 1 week personally told me it will be scheduled for this week... Unbelievable... She's lived here for years and just got the job out of no where! So freaking cool! Keep it coming! What's next? hahaha

this section of the secret suxxx big time. I'm not against money, is part of our reality, but certainly it not equals happiness, we should learn to attract wisdom and fulfillment and work, and passion for what we do everyday.
Also they say "the secret" was being kept a secret by few powered people.. and they place a video of a rich man supervising workers on a poor factory. I really doubt this men owned the secret; people who promotes slavery cannot be happy just because they have money.

i have to say this is kind of misleading. the point of "the secret", or correctly known as the laws of attraction is to attract happiness and expand. Although money can be a goal and a healthy one, it shouldnt be the only one. And a chunk of life the movie forgot to stress about was the fact that oppurtinities have to be taken. waiting and wishing is laziness.

I couldn't agree more with you. That is the one thing that I have against the secret, or at least in the way that it is promoted to people. The promotion is mostly about money, and success. It's just too bad that not enough people understand that the money is controlled by wealthy elite who control every aspect of our world. Finance / military / big Pharma / Entertainment / Media... There is an agenda in full swing by secret societies at the top. We worship the money they create, kinda sick.

i dont know i kind of disagree..it gives people the hope they need,the ones who werent blessed like alot of people are .into rich familys ,gettng cars for their 16 or even 20th birthday.having a loving family to go home to instead of them working 2 shifts to put food on the table . it just gives a good direction and intent for them to actually do something,I dont think it means sit around and wait for it to happen.you have to put effort into your intention.meaning taking the path to it.

In someways I believe in the law of attraction but in recent events such as millions of jobs lost, foreclosures, students not being able to afford school, retirement accounts and dreams wiped out...it seems like wishful thinking. It reminds me of a kid a Christmas praying hard to Santa for a special toy. It seems more like wishful thinking in these difficult economic times.
